I should have noticed, and read, the one prior review for the "CUB CADET 925-1707D Battery." This product is shipped without electrolyte, making it useful only as a very heavy paperweight. You might assume otherwise, because nowhere on the page are the words "electrolyte" or "acid" or "dry" used, let alone mentioning that you will have to add something to have an actual, functioning, battery.Upon further independent research, it looks as if electrolyte -- battery acid -- cannot be shipped in the mail, anyway. So, if you buy this product, you will have to purchase electrolyte at, say, a local auto parts store.Given all that, you might as well either buy the battery, AND acid, locally, or buy a SEALED battery on-line (or locally), i.e., one that does not require that you, personally and separately, add acid.All in all, this is a very misleading product listing, because of the omission of that one critical aspect: you are not getting a FUNCTIONING battery.And one final note: since this is neither sold by nor shipped by Amazon, attempting to return it will entail your paying return shipping costs (for a very heavy item, at that).There is simply no point in purchasing this product other than locally.

Again not filled with acid and have to pay to return , get a batterie that prize fully functioning here.I see that it can not be shipped with acid ,but that is not readable on top, it’s mentioned at the end of the listing . Not ever have had that experience with a not filled battery, and I am 73 , I think it is aweful ,to sell this ...I can’t afford to go and ship it ,so I am screwed ...thanks for nothing .

It is a rip off. A sealed battery with no fluid. Then it cost me $33 to send it back. It would have been much cheaper to drive to the city and buy one from the home improvement chain store and buy one thanks all the mess to get this one and have to ship it back. And I still had to drive in to get one that works.

It would not charge and we found out it has no acid in the chambers. We had to buy a new one. I'd like a Refund Please as it is no good to us.

Did not come with electrolyte. Other batteries are as cheap either sealed or with included acid. Do not recommend this battery.

Beware, dry battery as others have said an expensive paper weight. Should have stayed local and purchased a battery that actually works!
