You'll definitely want goop or some kind of adhesive.
I've gotten several of these before, the tape they give you never works. I use goop and it holds on tight. This was the first one I've ordered that fit perfect the first try and didn't need some trimming to fit right. They look good and after two months seem to be holding up well. I'm happy with them.
