Mann-Filter CUK 2939 Cabin Filter With Activated Charcoal for select Audi/Volkswagen models

These are good quality filters and fit perfectly. I used them in my 2016 Jetta and Passat. Simple five-minute job to swap out. Much better than dealer pricing.

This is my second time purchasing the cabin air filter for my 2009 VW Rabbit 2.5, and it's still the same high-quality product, made in Germany. It should also fit most VW MK5 models. I was surprised by how much debris had accumulated when I removed the old filter. Installation is straightforward and only takes about 10 minutes if you're familiar with the process. The package even includes printed instructions. Replacing the filter every other oil change (around every 10,000 miles) is a good practice to ensure clean, odor-free air inside the car.

I purchased my first MANN Cabin filter 5 years ago and drove almost 120,000 miles with it. Upon removal, IT was filthy on the filter side, and clean on the out-flow side. FIVE years of use, ...and while I don't recommend it, I was pretty impressed with its performance, as it still allowed good air flow, even with all the dust and debris that were stuck on it. This filter can be removed for dusting off and/or cleaning, maybe every 6 months to shake or vacuum the dust and debris off, which would help it keep going even longer IMO. Carbon Impregnated fibers, nothing fancy, it just works. I can recommend this wholeheartedly.

installed this in my VW and it took maybe 10 minutes and I could immediately notice the air inside feeling cleaner and fresher. the activated charcoal layer actually makes a real difference especially when you are driving through the city where the air is not exactly great. way cheaper than what the dealer charges and the fit was absolutely perfect right out of the box.
