The product is not exactly the same as the original. It took time to fit it. I recommend starting fitting from the bottom snaps and work towards the outer tabs . I was going to give it 4 stars. But I added five for the value, after all very inexpensive. I learned one thing however, I took the originals off and cleaned them thoroughly. So now they look almost as clean. Are use them as spares. be careful with the weatherstrip. They could be flimsy if the car is old.

I bought this clear headlight lens cover to fix the cloudy, yellowed front lens on my BMW instead of replacing the entire headlight assembly. New OEM headlights are crazy expensive, so this was a much smarter solution. First impression, the plastic clarity is excellent right out of the box. It’s crystal clear with no distortion, waves, or hazy spots in the molding. The thickness feels similar to the factory lens — not flimsy or cheap-feeling. Edges and mounting surfaces were clean with no extra flashing that needed trimming. Fitment was better than I expected. Once the old lens was removed (heat gun + patience), this one lined up properly with the housing. The contours match the factory shape, so the headlight keeps that OEM look instead of looking “off” like some aftermarket parts do. After sealing it back up with proper butyl headlight sealant, the housing closed evenly all the way around. Light output improvement is a huge difference. Before, the oxidized lens made the headlights look dim and dull even with good bulbs. With this new clear cover, the beam pattern looks sharper and brighter, and the car instantly looks newer from the front. No weird light scatter at night either, which can happen with poorly made lenses. Durability obviously depends on care, but the plastic seems UV-coated. I’d still recommend adding a clear protective film or ceramic coating to keep it from oxidizing again over time. This isn’t a “5-minute job” — you do have to open the headlight, which takes time and care. But if you’re comfortable with basic DIY work, it’s absolutely worth it compared to buying full assemblies. Fit like oem makes the car look 10 times better the old ones were so old and foggy keeps the water out would definitely purchase again

Looks good. Fit not exactly perfect but it’ll stay put. Some areas didn’t exactly clip but could be because this car is almost 20 years old. We’ll see how long before this one clouds up like the OEM
