The seat cushion is very thick and comfortable. Much better then sitting on metal bleachers. However since they are so padded and have a really sturdy frame and handle they are heavy. Also, they are on the larger side of stadium seats (because of the seat cushion) so take up more space to store in your car or garage. They do fold up nicely and are very sturdy. If you don’t mind carrying some that are a little larger and heavier these are perfect. If you are looking for light and small you might need to keep looking.

Game changer, literally. So comfy! Work well side by side for my husband who is 6'4 and 220lb and myself at 5'9, 170lb. I was afraid they'd be too narrow but they are just right! Great cushion and back support. Buy them!! Light for carrying too. I haul them along with a baby and toddler.

I bought two of these in 2019, and they are still going strong (I’m writing this in July 2025). The seats are strong and comfortable to sit in, even in long events. I like that they have a hook that locks onto the bleacher, so you can recline as long as no one is sitting behind you.Not that at almost 7.5 pounds, these are not the lightest option available, and even when folded they take up quite a bit of space. This is not generally an issue (for a single sporting event, for example) but I’m currently researching more compact options that I can take to day-/weekend-long events when I have a car-full of other gear (wagon, chairs, coolers, lax gear, etc) and am only bringing them in the off chance that a game is in a stadium).

This seat is AMAZING! The seat is easy to carry, super comfy, and it doesn’t slide off the bleachers! I fully recommend this!

Note Added 2 Years After Purchase: We bought a second Flash Grandstand Chair about 14 months after the first purchase reviewed below. While both remain in good shape, their weight & relative comfort have been diminishing features as we've grown older. They also exceed the common maximum width requirements at many sports venues, causing us to have to go without them occasionally. So I've reduced my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. Still a rugged product, but worth considering alternatives.I purchased a black Grandstand seat for my wife (color chosen simply for the current asking price), and she used it for the first time this past weekend at a junior ice hockey game. The seat engaged perfectly with metal bleachers, with the bottom hook preventing backward movement when she sat down & the sturdy lower frame pieces keeping the seat from sliding side to side. She remained comfortable for 2-1/2 hours, with the padded seat just firm enough & the webbed seat back having some give to it while still supporting her back with no residual soreness after the game. The seat is sturdier & thus noticeably heavier than the more popular metal frame & webbing folding camp seats, but the Grandstand chair has a bar with molded plastic handle on the back that makes it easy to carry when folded. So for stadium or arena usage, this model if the perfect solution to minimize tired butts & sore backs.

The padded seat is amazing - this makes seating in bleachers so much better! Its nice and thick so you don’t feel the metal at all.Size of seat cushion works well for smaller adults - the seat is not that wide but also not the smallest available.The hook at bottom of seat and rubber grips make this a secure seat and super easy to use as just open and slide it on and done.Had for several months and there has been no wear or tear after using for multiple games every weekend. Even used in pouring rain just fine and dried out without a problem.We do wish it had some kind of pocket to put things in as when raining there is no where to put anything.

This seat has been a life saver...or should I say a back saver! The cushion is great, very comfortable, folds up easy, and the handle makes it easy to carry. I keep this in my car because my son plays basketball and the bleachers were killing my back. This has been a game changer. My friend even bought one shortly after trying mine out at a game.

We use these chairs throughout the year for multiple sports inside and outside. They are lightweight and easy to carry. The bottom cushion offers great comfort for sitting through hours long sporting events.
