My husband is a dentist so this has been our favorite gift for the important kids in our life
My husband is a dentist and toddlers/children always love play-doh so this has been our go to gift this past year for the children in our lives that are very important to us. Plus they love to play this with him so they get to “see” and “do” what he does for work. They also go to him for their dental appointments and I believe that along with us reinforcing the fact that his what he does for work and when he sees them as well as their parents working great with them, it has made them the best little patients he has ever had, acting much better than many adults. I bought an extra one as well for hope that we have our own children in the near future and I’m even debating buying another because even if the play-doh dries out, I can replace it. It’s sad to know this has been discontinued. After seeing the effects it has had on the kids, I also think they should make something similar for all the health care professions. For instance, I’m a pharmacist and there could definitely be one made for it, not that all kids are afraid of us but it could get their mind set into thinking they might like to be that one day.

Great fun for all ages
What a great buy! We snagged this on a lightning deal for a great price. My oldest son gave it to my younger kids (ages 3 and 5) as a Christmas present. This was an absolute hit. Not only did the little kids start playing with it immediately (among all the toys and gifts they received), but the older kids (ages 13 - the gifter, and 17) also got involved. Every time this was put away it was brought back out and recreated. Dad was playing with it. Grandma was playing with it. House guests were playing with it... a total hit. The tools are easy to use and manipulate for little hands. Everything fits together and works like it should. The kids loved making the teeth and braces and then using the drill and squirting "toothpaste" through the toothbrush. I would definitely recommend this set. More fun that other play doh sets we've had before.

Unique & Imaginative Set!
What a unique Play-Doh playset! My 7yr old son has been having a great time playing dentist and taking care of his large mouthed patient. The kit is worth every penny - honestly $13 was a GREAT price for the value. Almost NO assembly required except for adding batteries to the drill. It comes with pinkish red colored play-doh for the tongue & enough white play-doh for my son to make MANY mistakes and still have plenty left. There's the head that you put the teeth in, a drill (batteries NOT included), a cute press that makes the teeth, braces maker, a toothbrush & more. This is a great way for a kid to have a positive experience with the topic of the dentist and caring for their teeth. Overall, a great investment for you kids imagination!

Cute but cant get batteries in the "drill"
My 3 year old loves playdom! After watching endless YouTube videos, I caved and found this guy. She's named him "Mr. Choppy". While she loves to make playdoh food and feed it to him and do dental work on his teeth..I do have a few complaints. There's only one mold that makes 2 teeth at a time (one front tooth and one back tooth aka a molar). It's super time consuming to make a whole mouth of teeth and my daughter gets bored half way thru even when mommy goes top teeth making speed lol. She has trouble making them too.The mouth kind of locks so it doesn't open and close easy. This may just be a problem with mine, not all of them. And lastly, my biggest whine...I cannot open the back of the "drill" to put batteries in. You need an extremely small screw driver..which is already annoying. But even with a tiny little Phillips head screw driver I still can't get the screw to budge. It's so tight that the screw is starting to strip so we ultimately gave up. Considering this is the only item that's battery powered it's a bit disappointing. The playdoh it comes with is a decent amount. There are three white containers, a reddish color and a blue ish green color. As most parents can relate, the colors get smushed together after a while so it's nice to have multiple white ones.

One of the few playdough toys that actually works
My daughter loves this thing. She wants to be a dentist when she grows up so she asks to play with this a lot. A lot of playdough toys are a pain and don't work as smoothly as they do in the commercials, but not this one. This one works exactly as shown and is even easy to clean because there's no hidden places for the playdough to get stuck and turn into surprise rocks for the next time you play. The little drill it comes with is cute, my son loves jabbing that in some playdough and spinning it around in the air. Fun for everyone.

Grand kids Love this!
Hours of play. Grand kids pretend they are dentist. Like anything, it does take supervision. Kids really get to use their imagination and just have fun. Yes, playdoh can be a little messy but kids need to be messy and play. Playdoh has always been the perfect sensory toy that kids love to touch and dig their fingers into. Even the set with different dohs like foam, slime, sticky or stretch are excellent for kids to explore touch. Very important to developement of the brain. Great for ages 4 to 10 with parent supervision.
