Good brush. Long bristles reach through deep grates. Cannot use on hot grill is a down side. This thing holds grease and the head will need to be replaced probably twice a year. More if you grill daily. Says high temp, but I'd say more like when the grill is halfway cooled down.

A lot better than the helical type GrillGrate brush. I get the grill nice and hot and then dip this brush in water before scrubbing the grill with it. It acts as a steam cleaner and keeps the brush from melting.

This thing is awesome, it's the only one I've found like it. Have a bowl of water beside you while the grill is about 250-300 degrees, dip it in and brush vigorously. Keep dunking so it doesn't get too hot and it's like a steam clean for the grates. No wear and tear even visible yet. I've tried other metal spiral bristle-free brushes and none of them compare. Well worth the money spent on this.

Does a very good job. Unfortunately gets very greasy over time and the bristles stick together. Going to give it a go in the dishwasher to try and clean them.

I use the GrillGrates grating system. This is THE tool to get into the crevices. I have another much cheaper wire tool I used to use before I got the GrillGrates, and I wouldn't bother with this more expensive tool for traditional wire-style grills, But if you have the GrillGrates - get this. No other way to effectively clean the crevices.

Everybody is worried about the metal brush thing. I still use the metal brush to clean my grill grates, and then follow it upwith a hot bowl of water and this brush. I feel better using this brush to make sure no metal brush pieces are left on the grill.

This should be a required purchase with Grill Grates! Works well used on a cold grill, or dipped in water on a hot grill. Plastic really gets in the holes and has not melted.
