We got these leather gloves for their quality stitching and double palm leather. They are thorn proof too as we use them to remove bramble and so far no thorns in my hands! A little expensive but well worth it!

I got for wire fencing (not barbed) and splitting and hauling firewood. Middle finger gave out at the tip. I went to their web site and see this is a common occurrence. Ah well...

Do not purchase another pair of gloves if you work hard. These gloves are high quality and last a long time. They do not work on your phone or picking up small objects.
