Rolling Stone Sheet Music Classics, Vol 1: 1950s-1960s (Rolling Stone Magazine, Vol 1)

This book is everything it needs to be. The print quality is great, the durability of the book is fantastic, and the overall presence of the book is amazing. I greatly appreciate the table of contents. Considering this book is several hundred pages, a table of contents was needed and I’m glad it was included. The information about each song is a great extra touch. Lastly, the fact that this book has piano music, guitar tabs, and lyrics makes this book 5 stars. I love that i can use each song in a different way. I’m so glad i can use this to play several different instruments. I will be buying more from this collection!

This is one of my all-time favorite piano books!!! The song selections are awesome and the arrangements are well done. Some of the songs are fairly easy to learn while others are a little more challenging which is a great combination. If you enjoy any of the rock and roll classics from the 50s-60s, this book is for you. I have so much fun learning and playing these songs! Would definitely recommend!

This book has a lot of forgotten old songs that sound pretty good on the keyboard, although most of the songs I did not care for.

I could spend the time to learn by ear the songs I wanted from this book but my hearing isn't what it used to be and frankly, I'm lazy. The notation is very accurate on both bass and treble clefs but, as a guitar player, I can't speak to the accuracy for piano. Chord voicing and diagrams for the most part is correct although I did change a couple on a few songs. All in all, a good book!

Chords (with chord diagrams), lyrics and sheet music for songs you will remember if you were listening to the radio in the 50s and 60s. Great collection.

Book has plenty of fun songs . Purchased as a gift for my daughter.

Everything I've used so far from this series has been very accurate (correct keys, correct notes etc) You might assume that is always the case with sheet music. But sadly I've learned it's the exception. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is this accuracy comes at a price. Several pages for each song even if it's only 3 chords and the melody repeats itself.

A book for those who like old songs.
