Perfect.
The second one I ordered. Both are very well made, excellent finish and workmanship. Very light and strong, youcontrol it, it does not control you as a convential one would which would be much heavier.

Solid Walking Stick
Like the light weight and solid feel of this smooth bamboo walking stick compared to my other wooden walking sticks.

Ideal wooden walking stick
What's so lightweight that it feels like it's made of plastic, but so strong that you can't even flex it slightly no matter how hard you try? THIS STICK.I purchased the dark brown "Iron Bamboo" stick. It's very straight, only slight deviations from true, slight knots, as you'd expect from bamboo, however this does not feel like bamboo in the hand It's just as light, but it's a lot more solid. It feels like congealed air. It's so light in fact, that if you're looking for a staff for possible self-defense, I would look for a heavier one, perhaps the hickory version, although I can't vouch for that one because I do not own one. Still, it's a really great feeling stick in the hand. Highly recommend.

It helps my Dad walk!
I know my dad should be using a cane or something along those lines. But this helps him when he just wants to take a quick walk (as quickly as his legs allow). After a few months, it finally broke, but that's not the fault of the cane, rather the fault lies with his Parkinsons. His previous stick he lost due to him leaving it in the back of the truck. One thig is for sure, These sticks can take abuse and are very reliable.

It took two tries but I got the right size. This is a real boost. Great product. US made.
I love this company. The prices are modest, and the sticks are nice-looking and sturdy. They also help. I have a minor nerve damage in my left foot, and this remedies it.

Simply the best!!!!
The best walking sticks I'll ever buy. If it doesn't say Brazos don't waste your time. Such a great quality I started collecting them.

Grandparents approved 👍
I have this to my grandma as a Christmas gift. Her knees have been getting worse, but her and my grandpa love to go hiking. They both say this has been super helpful :) Grandpa says he likes it better than the folding metal ones, too, because it provides better support.

Nice split; means you likely did everything wrong
Every bamboo walking stick I've ever bought has been mass-produced by places with no quality control. They all come split. This one is no exception. I was hoping it would be, since this company does walking sticks. Here's probably everything they did wrong:1. They got the bamboo from somebody that took it too young or too old.2. They didn't dry it well enough.3. They didn't oil it or seal it well enough.4. They used bad tools to drill the hole for the pointless wrist strap, which destroyed the wood.5. Nobody looked at it on the way out the door.I'm not even going to bother trying to get my money back. I've been the dummy every time. I'm going to drive it into the ground somewhere in the garden as a crop support.
