Riesling White Wine Glass

These glasses are beautiful. For those who are hesitant based on reviews that say the glasses easily break, you need to know the quality of these glasses. Glasses of this quality are thin lipped and beautifully crafted in order to give the customer the best experience when enjoying their wine. These are not glasses that you throw in the dishwasher or wash hap hazardly in the sink. They need to be hand washed gently with very little force. Drying needs to be even more cautious. This is not hard to master, you just need to take your time and treat them nicely. This is very little to ask, given the enjoyment these glasses provide in bringing out the best in your wine.

Elegant, comfortable to handle, pleasant to look at I have several of these PURE series glasses. These are in addition to those I already own. VERY IMPRESSIVE ON A TABLE Yes they can go in a dishwasher on a GLASS cycle, bit I prefer and suggest hand washing.

I agonized over the decision of what size of these to buy. I don't like wine glasses that are too big (either too tall or with very large goblets, which seems to be the trend), which is why I chose the Riesling version even though they will primarily be used for Chardonnay. But my worry was that they may end up being too petite, almost like a cross between a wine and cordial glass. But they are perfect. A very normal (yet elegant) size for white wine glasses. I can't speak to whether they are shatterproof, because I have not banged or dropped one yet, but give me time, and I will! That was definitely a driver of my purchase. They did make it through our first run in the dishwasher with no problem. (We did have to lower our top dishwasher rack a tad). I can say that they are really beautiful glasses. Definitely a step up from what I had previously. They are sophisticated and have a nice gleam to them. For me, they look more expensive than they are. I felt the price on these was very reasonable given what I received. And I'm so happy with them, that I'm about to replace my current red wine glasses with the matching Schott Zwiesel Beaujolais glasses. I think those may be the only red wine glasses in the collection that are short enough to still fit in the dishwasher, which for me, apparently trumps matching the glass to the style of wine! I would definitely recommend these glasses. Though if you like a lot of height or a great big goblet, maybe go for the Chardonnay version. I will update this review if I ever drop one to report on whether it survives. I'm not brave enough to drop one just as a test though! ;-)

Bought 12 of these thinking they were the larger merlot style and not the more dainty white wine glasses. I feel like we’re in a “enormous fragile wine glass” moment and I do just like a bigger glass in my hand, but I decided to stick with these and not return them. And we kept shattering the bigger ones. Haven’t broken a single one of these yet (and there have been tips) and as a bonus, the wine is consumed much slower at a dinner party when everyone is getting a half glass pour LOL

Answer: ridiculously strong. Banged the stem of the glass against the edge of a granite counter hard enough to knock a chunk out of it. But the glass itself is fine, time to break out the CA glue.

I have a version of these and wanted to replace one's I'd broken. The ones I own are my favorite. I measured the amount of liquid my current glass holds and it came up to 10.5 oz. which is what these are but they were smaller. I'm exchanging them for the 13.5 oz. chardonay glasses hoping those are the right ones.

Conozco esta marca desde hace mucho tiempo. Me encanta su cristalería fina. No pesan nada y muy agradable a la hora de tomar sea una copa de vino o un vaso de agua… Pero esta vez me he equivocado. El cristal es más grueso, además el tamaño no es lo que esperaba encontrar.

Wine tastes and looks better in these beautiful glasses. I'll likely be ordering the burgandy Pure glasses at some point.
