Q: How wide does this make the pencil? I will be removing for charging

Almost doubles the width of the pencil and makes attaching to the iPad/ charging with it almost impossible. Taking the case on and off is also a hassle, so charging and storing quickly can be difficult.

Q: Can I use a nib cover with this cover please

Yes, you can. I slide the pencil cover over the pencil with the nib cover in place. It holds the nib cover in place quite well.

Q: Is it compatible with the apple brand case on an iPad Air?

If the case has a cut out for the Apple Pencil then yes it’s compatible. My case (not Apple) has a cut out and I don’t need to remove the sleeve to charge the pencil. You have to ensure that the pencil has been registered by the iPad so you know that it is charging.
