Excellent little adapter
I have a ton of USB-C to 3.5mm DAC adapters. I collect headphones and have a modern cell phone, so I wind up getting (and going through/replacing) a ton of these little adapters . This Anker USB-C DAC adapter is one of the nicest I have ever owned. It is extremely durable and well-made. Mine is used every single day for multiple hours, sometimes for as many as 12 continuous hours in a single day (every Friday at work) with virtually no wear-and-tear or drops in performance whatsoever. One of the best adapters I have ever owned (I have a out 30 of them right now) and definitely worth the asking price.

Sounds good so far lets see how long it lasts.
I tested it on my Galaxy S9 with some wired headphones plugged into the 3.5mm jack on the phone and then on this adapter. The sound quality isn't quite as good as when the headphones were plugged into the 3.5mm jack on the phone but I wouldn't call it significantly worse either. The volume was about the same as the native 3.5mm jack so that is already better than some of the other adapters I have seen. The most noticeable difference to me was the bass was weaker with the adapter. There was a difference in the mids and highs too but I can't quite figure out what the difference is exactly. If I wasn't comparing them side by side for this review though I probably wouldn't notice the difference especially when I was using this outside. I can't speak to the durability yet but I will update this review if the adapter breaks or the port on my phone gets worn out from having to keep using this.If you hate wireless ear pods and your phone no longer has a headphone jack then I would say these are definitely worth getting.

High quality
I tried other adapters but none works like anker. In my opinion this is one of the best brands you can get out there when it comes to electronics. Pay a little bit more and get the better brand trust me on that

finally product with good quality and good specs
after going through so many dongles, this finally is satisfying..tried various other ones with higher specs, but either the plug sleeve came off or they sent a wrong product because of wrong stickers on the box (overall quality control of the sellers, not AMZ Problem) or the wires were too flimsythis one has everything ok, good quality, good specs, 24bit/92khz out and 2 channel 24bit mic in.. (what the driver says for win11 probably the plug does not support stereo in)also seems to have power save feature, device disappears when no headset is plugged in.worked well in teams win11 and also for Sony Xperia where cheap dongles don't work. There is a sea of dongles out there but I guess a proper brand like anker avoids random issues.

It lasted only two years :'(
I've had this for about two years to connect my iPhone to the 3.5 mm audio jack in my car, as the vehicle doesn't support Bluetooth audio for anything other than phone calls.I initially used it with a power/audio adapter for my iPhone 12, and it worked fine. I continued using it when I upgraded to an iPhone 16, skipping the power/audio adapter, and it did okay. After two years of use, it suddenly quit working.Overall, the build quality was excellent, and the sound output was great. There were no frayed cables; it felt sturdy. The 3.5 mm jack connected securely; no static was ever heard in the audio. My main issue with it is that the USBC connector was a VERY tight fit in my iPhone 16. I think this contributed to the failure, as it was difficult to disconnect it from my phone. I even tried it without a case on my phone, thinking there was interference, but it was still hard to remove. This is why I took away one star.NOTE: Some people have claimed that the output volume was too low. This problem is with an iPhone setting, not this adapter. iOS will protect your hearing by limiting the volume of your device. When I first connected my iPhone 16, it asked me if the device I connected was headphones. I mistakenly said "yes," and the volume was VERY low. After resetting and reconnecting my iPhone and saying "no" to the headphone question, I got full volume out of my device.

Now I can use muy very expensive studio headphones with my cell phone and tablet. I hate ear buds!!
Newer phones and tablets have done away with the old standard stereo headphone plugs I found that the avaiailable high quality headphones are far superior to those ear buds. This allows me to use my studio quliaty headphones with my phone, tablets,, etc.

High-quality adapter
The adapter looks good, is very durable, and functions without any interruptions. Anker is known for its high-quality charging accessories, and it implemented the same in these audio adapters.

Sturdy, well built, solid tight connection.
Much stronger and more solidly built than the similar Apple product. Nice snappy tight connection. I think it also passes through a stronger signal, though I haven't tested the comparison as much as I should. Why would I use the Apple connector when I have this one?
