Works great for gate entry motor control under PLC Control
Please be advised that this device is only rated for 20 amps continuous If you pulse it with the on/off switch it will handle 40 amps as i have done with my custom gate entry system and a PLC Works great if you use it as I instruct

The product broke after two months of use
The control knob that increases/decreases power to the circuit completely failed. Now, I have a $60 brick that acts like an on/off switch. This is a huge disappointment as I bought this solely for the dimming capabilities. It's not like this was used all the time either. I have probably turned the knob maximum 30-40 times. I only ran about 5amps through it at 24v at a time, so this was a terrible waste of money.

Smoked it, I never even went fast!
I installed this in an electric go kart. I’m running a 24v battery to a 30 amp circuit breaker, the speed controller (rated at 40 amps, and 36 volts). I only drove this at 3miles per hour. It didn’t go far before it started smoking and smelled burnt! I don’t think I had the speed up to 3 on the dial. Totally useless!

Only one direction worked
Used a volt meter to verify that it only output voltage to the motor when the switch was set to reverse. On forward it output no voltage.

Forward is reverse, tried to fix it and blew capacitors, not good.
Motor connected directly to battery, red to red and black to black, motor goes forward. Motor connected through controller, red to + and black to -, forward switch is reverse. So I reversed the polarity to the battery and it blew several capacitors and started smoking. Not accurate.
