Love these Brand of toys 🧸 for my Boy. He has managed to chew thru some of the ones with small heads but not the whole body only ever the head. I bought this one thinking it had a bigger head an everything on it was reinforced. So far so good. He loves it 😇

This is only the second time I have had to buy this toy over the last two years because the last one lasted set lasted so long and really just got overly dirty vs worn out. Great product and my lab loves them.

Tore with in about 5 minuets! I took a snap shot of when the package was delivered and a snap shot of the picture of the destroyed tuffies with the time above. I have the blue shark and it has lasted 5 months and counting! But with in 5 min my 11 year old pitbull who is missing teeth shredded the desert phrog. She loved where the squeaker was positioned but the Desert Phrog didn't last.I also have a 8 month old Husky and I bought him the big orange octopus. I thought he was going to have a blast with it and he did then I saw stiffing. I loved the octopus the size is great! But i totally expected it to be way more durable!! The Blue shark made me believe the two new tuffy toys would last a good amount of time. At least longer than 5 minuets. I wouldn't recommend. Tried to contact Tuffy just to let them know they might have defected toys out there but the "contact us" option has no contact info.

I was so excited to try this toy for our one year old, eight pound Rat Terrier. She is very destructive with stuffed toys, but we keep trying to find something other than latex toys for her to play with. The Tuffy line seemed like the answer. It still might be the answer to Cory having a more long-lived stuffed toy. BUT the problem with its being easily destroyed? The mouth of the frog! Why on earth the manufacturers built a sturdy toy with an obvious flaw is puzzling. For about 5 minutes Cory happily chewed on the very tough body of the frog. She made no visible damage. But she is very smart, and within under 15 minutes I heard her gagging on something. She had ripped up the pink material of the mouth and was gagging on strings. The mouth is not a regular cloth. It comes apart in strands. We will send it back and replace it with a Tuffy toy which is 100% the durable outer material. If the new toy is sufficient, I will update my star rating and write a new review. 😚😌

We have a schnauzer/shih-Tzu mix who chews like a termite. She's chewed through a door, my living room carpet (4 foot by 4 foot hole) and the drywall on the corner of my hallway...in addition to all the typical things. We couldn't find a toy she didn't ruin within an hour. This one has held up pretty well - but after six months, she is starting to create holes along the edges and pull strings out of the poor froggy face. Overall, I am happy with it - it held up to my champion chewer for quite some time. AND, she loves it. I would purchase again.

One of my dogs TEARS up his toys... He loves to get at the stuffing as that's his favorite part. So far (almost a month and counting) other than a little fraying around the edges of the feet, wow... and I've seen him seriously working on those feet. Another plus with the frog is that it's a great size for a 20 lbs dog (lots of Tuff Toys are huge!) and the frog's shape makes it great for throwing like a Frisbee!.

Not tough enough for my little chew-obsessed Boston Terrier. Chose this toy after buying the lobster and having that last at least 6 months, but this guy only lasted 2 days before my dog ripped its seams. Overalll, though, it's fun to throw and easy for him to spot and play with.

I bought this for one of my dogs who couldn't open his mouth very wide. It ended up being his favorite toy, and he chewed on it every chance he could. It stood up to the vigorous chewing of a bulldog, so I would definitely recommend this, as well as any of the Tuffy products. They are the only ones that I will buy anymore. Anything else just falls apart under my boy's "attention"!

Had high hopes for the toy but it seems it can't stand up to a chocolate lab puppy. She tore it apart in about three weeks. Tougher than most though so I'd recommend it still.

I picked this up for my daughter's dogs that I'm watching. One is a pug, the other an English bulldog. The pug likes stuffed toys, but can't have any because the bulldog likes tearing everything apart. I had read online that Tuffy's made good durable toys.To start, this toy is the perfect size for either the pug or the bulldog, and they both loved it. It is well made, and feels pretty durable. The pug, who likes to play tug-o-war, was easily able to grip it by one of it's legs whil I held it's head (the toy's not the dog's).Unfortunately, the bulldog had it for around half an hour and was able to chew most of the frog's lower jaw off. This then led to stuffing being pulled out. On the plus side, there's a lot of stuffing in this thing. Even though the dog's pulled out a bunch, the toy is still solid.I'll keep it in it's current state, but only let the dog's have it if I'm around.

Not as soft as the toys her prefers but it certainly is strong. Perhaps there is a balance between plushness & durability but this errs in the durability side.

Was a present for our 2 maltipoos for Christmas. They have managed to pull the stitching. Would definitely buy a stronger rated toy for any size dog.

Very well made toy but my 11 month old lab x was able to remove all the stuffing within one hour.
