The best cases I've ever owned
I had the smaller model for my Pixel 5 for 6 years and it was amazing secure. When I first got it I used a carabiner clip to attach it to the belt loops on my jeans, but the belt loops on my jeans kept giving out. I switched to using leather belt loops with metal rings to hook the clip onto, but I kept wearing out my belts. Eventually I switched to a gun belt which helped with the belt issue, but I also had to replace the carabiner once after the spring stopped working. I tell these anecdotes to give you an idea just how sturdy the ring on the back of the case is. On most cases the ring would have given out first before even one of the others wore out, but it was never a contest with this one. When I got my Pixel 7 I was barely able to keep using the same case. The velcro wouldn't fit but at maximum extension the clip was barely able to snap into place. This put a lot of a strain on the clip and eventually broke it... almost a year later! I just got the bigger one designed for the Pixel 7 and it fits like a glove. Looking forward to using this for the next decade. My biggest complaint is how hard it was to find this with Amazon's search results. I tried a bunch of different search phrases and it just kept giving me page after page of cheap holsters that only secured with velcro or snaps. I don't think I even saw one that used a clip, much less one that had both velcro AND clip fasteners like these ones do. None of them looked like they'd last 2 years much less 7. I had to dig into my order history in order to find Krofel's store. It's depressing how hard it is to find quality stuff like this today on Amazon among the sea of cheap junk.

Heavy duty construction, fast delivery
What can I say? This holster is for the working man. It's OK with me also for casual wear but I'm not out to impress anyone with a slick leather holster that's not very secure. The velcro is twice the amount of the holster I just wore out. If you want to open this holster quietly, forget it... unless you cover or remove the velcro. If hunting, I would just cover the velcro temporarily with a piece of tape or cloth so that's not an issue. ;-D Even then, one could depend on the clip closure. Speaking of clip closure, the added clip to the velcro can take extra time to open the holster and there's a learning curve to quickly open and close with the two secure fasteners. However, the clip has extra strap so I can increase the length of the strap and carry another item next to my phone. The pen holder is a nice touch as is the hidden compartment and D ring. I expect the weak link in the construction is the elastic cloth sides; however, they should last for years. I'm glad there's no magnetic fastener. Who would want to have a fastener that disables the compass, a prime feature of a cell phone? This holster is well worth the $$ and will last a long time. Someone who works took thought in the design of this holster. "Thank you" to the designer or the design team.

Appears exceptionally well, made especially for $7.99
This phone pouch seems to be exceptionally well made especially when considering the price of $7.99. Looking at it you wouldn't be surprised if it was $29.95. The spring clip is riveted to heavy cordura material with 2 rivets. You can use the spring clip to attach it to a belt or it can be mounted in either portrait or landscape position by threading a belt or strap through available slots. The spring clip is sized to easily fit a 1 3/4" heavy belt. The portrait belt loop is even more accommodating, probably fitting a 2" belt. The landscape oriented belt loop is larger still and will fit 2 1/4" belt. This belt is 3/16" thick.I bought this to use with a Note 9 in a FitFort Case. It is a fairly thick and larger case. Slightly thicker than 1/2" and almost 3 1/2" wide. The Krofel Belt Clip Pouch handles both the thickness and width with ease. My Note 9 set up slips in and out with like it was made for this phone. It is easy to pull the phone out and put it back in with 1 hand because the top portion of the Fastex type strap clip is solidly secured to the flap of the case. If it was not it would require 2 hands to clip it like most fastex buckles. 2 3/4" wide heavy duty Elastic strap wraps from the back section of the pouch around the front to the back again so the sides are 2 3/4" wide and elastic. It will fit a thicker phone than mine because of the stretch sides.I would call the design of this pouch excellent with a few minor complaints. I would have moved the hook portion of the velcro closer to the top so that tall phones, like the Note 9, would allow the flap to better utilize the velcro fastening. As it is the flap barely attaches with the velcro. It would be a very easy fix. For some reason the top flap is slightly offset. Perhaps some phones have the 3.5mm phone jack there and this is to allow access while the phone is in the case. For the Note series it leaves the stylus open to removal which is not an advantage with this series of phones.Since I just got it and have only worn it today I cannot say how will it will hold up but based on how it looks it seems like it will hold up great. It has the look of a mil-spec item. The fit and finsih is exceptional.Update 1: The clip definitely needs to be replaced. It does not function well. While sturdy, it is too hard to put on but more importantly way too easy to take/come off. It needs to have the same type of clip used on firearm holsters. They have a larger angled tab portion of clip making it easier to catch your belt to clip it on and the interior angle needs to be sharply angled (fish hooked) back towards the belt so that it really catches the belt and does come unclipped easily. Think about pulling a pistol. If the clip doesn't hold the holster to your belt the holster comes off still on the pistol. NOT a good scenario. The same thing happens with this phone holster. Sometimes you pull out the phone and the holster comes with it. Worse though I once sat down and the whole thing popped off my belt. If that had happened in a public place and it went unnoticed I could have easily lost my phone.Update: This case does not work for the Note 9 in the case (FitFort, or Meritcase) I tried it with. The problem is that the metal clip will not keep the case on my belt. When I pull the phone out the case comes off with the phone and it is too hard to reattach to be worth it. It would work awesome with a smaller case or smaller phone. If Krofel wants to fix this problem they need to replace the current clip with a holster clip which has positive stop so it won't come off the belt/pants easily.

Just What I Needed
Perfect holster for those like me that do not like carrying their phone in a pocket. I found over the years that having my cell phone in my pocket was more of a hassle than it was worth, from breaking it several times by sitting on it or bending just enough that cracked the screen etc. Purchased this holster which easily attaches to my jeans with my belt, couldn’t be happier now. No longer have to worry about breaking my phone, and the phone is much more accessible now. This holster holds many different size phones as well, I have used it for a smaller Samsung phone all the way up to a large iPhone pro max. Definitely recommend.
