Time will tell, but initial setup and sound was better than expected.
I needed to expand my headphone monitoring ability from my mixer and this was my choice.It reproduces great sound, but due to the price point - has a few missing gadgets like channel mute and combine-mono. Not a problem really, I knew that going into this purchase. I like the sound but it has a flaw in the amplification. It introduces white noise at higher levels. I suppose that is also to be expected at this price. I like the sound and the power quite a bit.It looks exactly like the pictures once unpacked.The inputs and outputs are solid with no surging or clipping. The front controls are very solid and somewhat stiff to rotate. That and the body of the unit lead to an impression of being well constructed. Time will tell with some everyday use.Unless this blows up in the next 90 days I will stick by the purchase.Thanks for reading.

Great headphone amp!
I e been using this beast of a headphone amp in my semi pro studio it doesnt color the sound and will drive any headphones you plug into it and the price was very reasonable

Rugged construction, gobs of volume!
I'm using this to boost the volume on a TC Helicon Play Acoustic FX box. The TC at max volume isn't quite enough because I have some significant hearing loss, and this unit gives me gobs of power so I can actually hear as much as I want to. As a bonus and the other reason I bought it, my girlfriend can listen as well with her amazingly good hearing and independent volume control to hear all of the FX and such from the TC Play Acoustic.It's like a pro audio hearing aid. The thing is built like a tank. I've had headphone amps from other manufacturers die on me, so I kinda went for a more solid unit this time.The knobs and everything feel top notch. Very happy!

Great AMP
I use this amp to drive a few pair of high end headsets, Beyerdynamic 880 pros, and my favorite pair of SENNHEISER 800HD. I was considering buying a high end amp. But this one is ruggedly built and is just an amplification of the audio that my sound card gives it. It can be very loud without distorting. I have used it for over 2 years now and still like it's performance!!!!
