CHAOREN Mens Belt Leather Ratchet Belt - Customizable Fit, Effortless Style (35mm)

It is ok for what you've paid for. It's not a premium belt and longevity is questionable. The belt has actually 4 layers, the outside layers are sythetic material with leather backing (see photos). The outside material is not as tough as real leather and can easily get scratched by running your fingernail against it. The buckle easily locks in place; the finish is nice except for a small unpainted spot on the back of the buckle.

I have several of the ratchet-design belts by this merchant. All of them, including this one, are very good quality. I would buy others by the same merchant...but not THIS PARTICULAR ONE. The disengagement lever protrudes past the back side of the buckle and bears against the waist of your pants. If you bend forward, or make certain twisting moves, the lever is pushed forward and disengages. I am not overweight and have a 34" waist. This is NOT a quality issue. It is a design issue.

I have a Mission Belt that looks pretty much the same to the naked eye. The only difference is that the Mission Belt stays "buckled" (or whatever you want to call it). With this belt it is constantly loosening itself with big dramatic pops. If you want to use this to hold up your pants you will be tightening it every time you stand up.

This belt is perfect for me in many ways. First, being a portly man, I wear my pants a little lower than most people do. I have always had problems with belts not being tight enough and my pants not staying in place. With this belt, instead of being in a store and fumbling to tighten my belt, I just give it a tug and it tightens up.Second, I have been getting in shape and have lost quite a bit of weight and I still have quite a bit to go. I love that as I lose the weight, I can cut down the length of the belt to continue to use during my weight loss journey.Third, it just looks great and seems to be excellent quality for the money. I have the grey one and have got a few compliments in the week I have been wearing it.I have had a lot of belts in the past that would come apart at the buckle and I feel that won’t be the case with this particular belt. I plan on buying a couple more in black and brown for those occasions.I definitely recommend.

Whoever designed this belt is gifted. It comes in basically three lengths. Skinny, Med and Large. I purchased the medium. My waist size is between 36 and 38, but you can’t purchase a 37. With this belt you don’t have to worry about size. It locks as it ratchets into a notch on the back side. There is a small lever you press inward to unlock and pull to disengage, you then slide the belt off. Amazing !! Time will tell how it holds up but for now I’m impressed.It’s also a great buy for the price.

Belt easily cinches and tightens. After several months, the belt buckle clasp will probably stop gripping the belt and the falling off because the teeth connecting the belt to the buckle will gouge too deeply into the belt resulting in inadequate tension and grip. This is easy to fix by snipping off the end closest to the buckle so that the teeth of the clasp bite into new material and will hold for a long while longer (until you need to snip off the next sliver- there should be plenty of room for many iterations).

I liked the look and feel of this belt however it isn't doing the one thing a belt is supposed to do, stay buckled. This belt clicks to the desired fit and then holds it in that position, however after 1 month of owning this belt, the locking feature keeps popping open. I was meeting with a client, and the belt literally popped open... slightly embarrassing. I thought maybe it was a one time thing, however it has progressively gotten worse. I went golfing today and I could have just as well taken the belt off, it was constantly unbuckling. At one point I was in the middle of my back swing and my belt completely unbuckled... embarrassing experience #2... I think I will get rid of this belt before I completely loose more shorts. Nice looking product, however its a complete waste of money if my "Buckel" doesn't stay "buckled."

I really like the quality of this product, it's very well built, and I think it will serve me for years to come. You do have to manually size it by trimming excess material; but the product does come with hash marks for different sizes. The ratcheting capability is fantastic, and the fact that it can resize so easily allows it to still serve you well even if you lose or gain weight. The carbon fiber design has a rather matte finish to it, and looks solid black unless you shine a light towards it. I am disappointed in that regard, as I was hoping for something with a more glossy finish that would show the pattern no matter the angle you looked at. It's a very understated design, when I was looking for something a little flashier. That may suit some people's taste better than others.

Estaba muy equivocado.La verdad es que este tipo de cinturón me ha resultado mucho mejor. Puedo ponerlo exactamente a la medida que a mi que gusta, cosa que no puedo hacer con un cinturón de agujeros.En cuanto a la calidad de este artículo en particular pues me parece muy buena, aunque ya veré que tal sigue en unos meses.

This isn’t for me, but my husband ordered this, and it’s seriously the ugliest belt I’ve ever seen. This is his “golfing belt”. But if you plan on moving into a retirement home in the near future and need something to keep this pants under your armpits, this is your belt. It’s not meant for anyone under the age of 70

The belt bugle ( pin ) broken in just 2 to 3 usage. This is the worst ever bought in online. Still the belt is OK but can't use it anymore because of broken bugle holder.
