NOW is one of my favorite brands, but disappointed that one of the bottles leaked in transit.
I have used NOW essential oils for many years, and have always been pleased with their quality, and potency. Although i've tried many various brands of essential oils, i always come back to the NOW brand, just because i know i can trust their oils. This Plant Defense essential oils kit would make an excellent gift, or even be good for someone just starting to explore essential oils. I have no complaints about the quality of the essential oils themselves in this set, however unfortunately the bottle of "Clear the air blend", leaked all inside the package. The cap didn't seem to be on tightly enough, so quite a bit of that oil leaked out during transit. As soon as i received this set, and opened the box i knew right away there had been leakage, because the minty smell of essential oil was very overpowering, and i hadn't even opened any of the bottles yet. I did attach a picture that shows the leakage. Other then that one issue, i am very pleased with this set.

Trusted Brand, good scents
Love this variety pack of essential oils. The oils are 100% pure eucalyptus, lemon, peppermint, and tea tree. The clean the air oil is a combination of peppermint, eucalyptus, hyssop and rosemary oil. The scent it gives off is reminiscent of Vicks vapor rub. The quality of these oils are top notch. I'll use these oils in my diffuser, add some tea tree oil into my skincare products and foot bath. I'll use the peppermint diluted in water to repel spiders near the windowsill. The essential oils were packaged nicely, however, the lemon bottle did leak. Another then that, it's a pretty good starter pack with multiple uses.

Excellent Essential Oils
I've been buying NOW & Plant Therapy essential oils (EOs) for well over a decade. They are brands that I trust. You better believe I jumped at the chance to get my hands on this 5 pack by NOW.Almost all of the important information you should look for is included with these EO's, including the 'Clear the Air' blend. What is missing is the Country Of Origin aka COO. What is included for each is the botanical name, parts used, & distillation method. Plus these have two verifications: Non GMO & Vegan.I use their conventional EO's (like those in this set) for soap making because I use 1 ounce of EO per batch of old fashioned cold process soap; making it more cost effective. For my hand treatments, lip balms, & EO diffusers I prefer to buy their USDA Certified Organic options because I don't need to use anywhere near the amount of EO's as I do when I make soap. This 5 pack of oils all smell & perfom as expected. The packaging is more than suitable for gifting if that is your purpose. Each amber glass bottle is a generous one ounce size. No leakage & all the bottles arrived sealed & in perfect condition. The price at the time of my review is about $5 per bottle, making it a very good deal.I love NOWs EO blends & their 'Clear the Air' is no exception. It is incredibly refreshing because it really opens up the nasal passages. This blend is great for chest rubs & EO diffusers. Now provides a EO recipe blend you can DIY on the back of each bottle to help you get started. Each bottle offers a different blend that you can make. I love using eucalyptus in my EO diffuser. I use tea tree for antifungal salves & I use lemon & peppermint (not at the same time) in the different soaps that I make.

very nice essential oils
These are some of the nicest essential oils I’ve tried. The scents are quite assertive and delightful. I think the lemon and peppermint are my favorites but they are all good. So far I tried these in my diffuser and in a carrier oil - both worked well. I enjoy just sniffing them! I don’t know if these will repel insects at all but I will try the next time I’m outdoors. These bottles should last me awhile.

Nice quality essential oils
These are nice big bottles of essential oils that will last a while. All of them are 30mL which is 3x the size of my normal essential oils. They are quite potent too. I thought for sure one of the bottles were leaking but I could smell the peppermint wafting from my package when I received it. When I checked, they didn't look like they were leaking but I went ahead and tightened all the caps. I only need a few drops in my diffuser and it goes a long way. This set of oils are really a good deal considering the cost and how much oil comes in this set.

Good Set of Essential Oils, Missing Country of Origin
This is a set of five essential oils. Each bottle is a relatively big 1 oz, which is a lot of essential oils given that you don't use more than a few drops at a time. Fortunately you have 2 years to use it up, according to the freshness date on the package. My only criticism is the lack of information regarding where this item is sourced. USA? China? It says non-GMO, but that's about it. Other than this lack of info, it's a good quality set of oils.

Quality Oils
I have used the NOW brand of essential oils for many years and have always been very pleased with them. I like to mix the oils with 70% rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle (a little goes a long way) and use it for general disinfection and cleaning such as door handles, knobs, etc. I also use this mixture (peppermint) as an ant spray, which I've found to be quite effective. I use the lavender/alcohol mixture to freshen the couches and cushions. I like that these are 100% pure with no synthetic fragrances.

Great Selection of oils
The Now Essential Oils Plant Defense kit contains 5 one ounce bottles of essential oils, including Tea Tree, Lemon, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Clear the Air -a blend of several oils. The bottles came in an easy to wrap box, so it can be given as a gift. And at under $5 a bottle, it is a great value as well.
