We have a pump tank as part of our septic system that has a vent. On many days we got septic odor near the house, replaced the vent cap with this and has worked well no odor and pump tank still works normally.

I was having a lot of septic smell outside my house. The exhaust pipe is just an open pipe sticking out of the roof. It’s a tiny house, so being so small the smell was pretty much surrounding us. In my head I was picturing a carbon filter with a cover over it but had never seen anything like that. Surprisingly when I started looking I found this product that is exactly what I was picturing! It is super simple to install, slide on, couple of twists with a flat head, done. I put it on about a month ago and have not smelled anything since. I believe it said to replace the filter about once a year so it will take some time to see if that is true. But as of now I would definitely recommend this product!

This worked like a champ! Our plumbing vent on the roof would emit an odor especially when it was cool outside. This was installed in a couple minutes and fit perfectly. It was a simple solution to our problem!!

We've been having a sewer smell from our vent. This took care of the problem immediately.

Smells were completely gone for 2 weeks after installed, however they slowly came back and now 6 weeks later all original odors are still persistent. We do have an aerobic septic system which forces some air out of the vent stack pipe, so maybe this caused the filter to wear out faster?

Used this for about a month before the gases starting to back up and we could smell them coming through the drains. Once we removed it, the problem went away.
