I just rescued an injured toad (my first amphibian!) so I was very clueless on what to purchase for her set up. After a few weeks I determined I needed a stand for her lamp, and found this one. It is such a great deal and I feel anyone could use this for their animal set up that requires a light. It was extremely easy to put together and adjust to fit my needs. It fits perfectly under her habitat and is very sturdy. I love how quickly adjustable it is. I was also surprised by the weight of the stand, and I'm not worried about it falling over or being hindered by the heat of the light.HIGHLY recommend!

I purchased this adjustable lamp stand for use with my tortoise habitat. It's sturdy, assembles easily, is fully adjustable. I'd recommend it to a friend.

This is completely metal and structurally sound. It slips under the tank is is held tight! We use it to support a double bulb heat lamp on our turtle tank. Heat lamps scare me as a fire hazard so this makes me feel a lot better knowing that they cant fall off the tank. The stand feels secure, durable and adjustable enough for a lot of different tank sizes. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the little welded metal clips to hold the cord really doesn't hold them well. The cords fall right out of them with the slightest movement. i ended up using a few zip ties instead. But, I'd still recommend it and would buy it again tomorrow.

Soooo worth it! Would gladly buy more in the future if I wanted to be able to adjust the height on my light bulb dome fixtures! Stability is debatable for me since cord management plays a factor to the stand. But the stand does come with hooks for 1 lamp...if you're running a dual dome set up, you may want to look into zip ties or gear ties to wrap your cords neater for management. It's pretty sturdy for the price and extremely easy to assembly.I initially thought the adjustment capabilities on it were trash, but my dumb butt reversed the main pole and was able to shorten my dome RIGHT over the basking spot of my terrarium!

My husband instantly went to start lifting the tank, to realize it had a perfect slot to fit the stand under 🤣 which was funny. It was super easy to put together and get the light fixture onto it. It fits perfect, does the job- so far so good! I hope it manages to hold up and stay strong! Time will tell,

Functional, but just barely. Poor fit/finish and flimsy. Sharp edges, knobs that don’t screw in straight. Also a bit worried that placing it under the tank in just one spot will put stresses on the rest of the tank.
