I purchased these because I do a lot of solo RPG playing. That involves a lot of erasing! These are high quality and durable erasers. They are soft and do not tear my paper when erasing over and over.

If you do sketching, watercolors, or other forms of art, often you use pencil sketches to get your basic design down. In many cases, you want to erase out those sketch lines for the final product. This TPR white block eraser from Amazon Basics is intended for that kind of purpose. TPR is the abbreviation for Thermoplastic Rubber. Real rubber has latex in it - from my research TPR does NOT have latex, so the "rubber" in the name means it is rubber-like in its behavior. This is important for artists to know because the way (real) rubber works with paper is different from how (fake) TRP rubber works. Most pencil erasers (the little nibs attached to a pencil) were rubber, and in general they harden and become very hard to use. TPR, in comparison, tends to be softer, more pliable, and more useful for removing pencil marks. The Amazon Basics formulation is 'tougher' than other TPR-style brands I use, including Pentel. The Amazon Basics eraser requires more pressure to scrub out lines, and it doesn't always get out darker lines. However, it is MUCH less expensive than the other models. So for me it's a tradeoff. I'll use this for practice art and casual works. I would use the Pentel and other brands for more serious art and commissions. A good value for the price.

These are paper pencil eraser not magic eraser’s

Usage : Pour les notes, dessins et petits travaux créatifs, cette gomme est très pratique. Points positifs : • Gomme proprement et efficacement. • Format bloc solide et agréable à tenir. • Lot généreux qui dure longtemps si utilisé correctement. Points négatifs : • Légèrement poussiéreuse, mais ça ne gêne pas vraiment. Conclusion : Très bonne gomme pour tous les usages quotidiens. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Very efficient and good quality

This is not a Japanese eraser or any kind of eraser. It does not work at all. Please remove all the Japanese wording from the package because it is extremely misleading. I feel I wasted my money on this item.
