nice speakers
I got these for a great price and was initially sceptical. Good size and volume, and even though the bluetooth works, I prefer to use a wire to connect speaker.

For the price good sound quality
My speakers packed in and I saw these and for the money thought I would try them. Sound quality is good at low to med volume but if you push them there is a little distortion. They look really good with my pc setup and I cant complain at the price /quality playing music and games through them they are as good as my old £100 per. I would definitely recomend these speakers.

Can't beat these if you just want some small monitors
I bought these with the intention of just using one as a quick hook-up speaker when playing a synth/keyboard. They do a fine job for this (albeit not particularly loud) but fine for home use.It turns out they aren't bad monitors as well - I haven't done any extensive testing, but I would happily use them to check for audio results especially if you want to see how your recording fairs on a small set of speakers. These were on offer and I used a voucher so cost me less than a nice bottle of wine! I have the 3" version and they are pretty small. I intended to just grad one for a quick play but as they are so small and easy to carry I have been using both so I can enjoy the stereo synth chorus effects :)I would say these are not loud enough as your main monitors (at least with my hearing) unless you have restrictions on the volume you can use - but are great as a mini PA (not for an audience but for personal use) or as a second monitor to listen through when testing for how the mix will perform. No idea on longevity as I haven't had them long and haven't even tried the Bluetooth as this wasn't the reason I bought them.

Brilliant
Really happy with these speakers. Bought as a gift for use with Pioneer DJ console and they work really well. Bluetooth opens them up for other uses too. Definitely a decent purchase.

Good for the money but the low frequency needs adjusting
The sound is good but when it hits some low frequency the speakers have a hard time controlling some bass notes.

Amazing value for money
These little speakers were on sale. Admittedly I did buy them to pull apart and improve as a weekend project. But before "improvements" it was best to test them. Not too bad for £45! The bass tuning is a little high and can be addressed for a more tuneful sound by adding about 10 to 15 cm of pipe onto the back of the ports (the same diameter or slightly smaller for a push fit). Making the ports longer lowers their resonance frequency. Try this if you can. The difference at the low end is worth it.There is the plug though, which has been mentioned by others. It's a sin. But, I've other leads. So if you do get it - bin the UK power lead and use a propper size one with a fuse and whatnot. 3A would do, as it's only a small transformer and a little amplifier, 1A or less is probably fine. But without a fuse, it relies on the breakers. In a UK ring main, that's generally 32A - and you're not supposed to rely on those. So why am I going to mod them if I think they're OK? Not much else planned for the weekend and have a lot of spare electronics toot... The cases will be braced (you can pull the front off then take out the speaker to add braces to the passive driver - just take the back off the powered one - with it unplugged). There's a grill on the inner end of the bass reflex tube which is going to be removed to reduce turbulence before a 3D printed extension is added to flare it (making it a little longer and further reducing turbulence). The crossover is a single capacitor but appears to work in conjunction with the main driver's inductance to do a good job. Quite impressed by the way these have been thought out on that front. But it may get fiddled with also.Randomly, the free air resonance frequency of the driver is ~68 Hz, which is way lower than many 4" mid-bass units in little speakers.

Stunning value
Really impressed with these, they'd be good at twice the price. They come with 2 sets of foam pads, a shallow sticky one which I stuck on, the other pads being about an inch thick, seems like overkill for my set up so filed them. Cables, thin wire for connecting the speakers, perfectly fine. RCA to headphone plug for input. Somehow despite how many cables I already have I still have to get another to connect to my audio interface. The reason for only 4 stars is the mains plug. Unfeasible small and not fused. I can't be bothered to check but I can't see how this meets BSI. To my mind dangerous and shouldn't be sold. Fortunately its a common type and I have others I can use.

Amazing speakers.
These speakers are an amazing bang for the buck. I recently got the Donner livejack audio interface, and needed some studio monitors. After seeing the impressive quality of the interface, I decided to go with a product of the same brand. Best decision ever made. The build quality is superb for the price, with solid feeling outer shells and have some heft to them. The setup couldn't have been easier. I plugged them into Wall power and connected the two via the included speaker wire. To use the Bluetooth feature, I opened settings on my phone and saw them right away. The monitors also work on my 2018 windows computer. The pairing process is quick and problem free. The features are also something I really like. I got my interface to play guitar, and can use the Bluetooth feature to play music while using the 1/4" input from my guitar, so I can play along with songs and listen at the same time. Having all the inputs be able to be used simultaneously is a great feature. They also come with great quality foam blocks to isolate them from the ground and sticky foam pads to put on the bottom of the monitors to protect from direct contact of surfaces.Overall, I love this product and would buy again in a heartbeat. It seems that Donner is really making a name for themselves in the audio industry.

Crisp and Clear audio at a great price
The media could not be loaded. TL;DR: They sound great, look clear and have great features. Some EQ adjustments make them even better. Go buy them now. These Donner 4inch studio monitors went above and beyond my expectations. While Donner maybe known as more of a budget brand, these monitors show that they are competitive in the market. For the price, you could look at bigger names like Mackie (only a 3inch monitor), but these would create a serious dilemma for shoppers!Pros:- Sleek and timeless look. The matte black finish the whole way round means that these will fit into any room setting. you can have them hidden away or you can bring them out to be noticed.- Easy install. Anyone who has used speakers/monitors before will see exactly what they're doing, but even for those who are just entering the market the instructions give clear and precise details on how to install ensure that all customers enjoy the product fully.- Features. The multiple inputs (RCA, 1/4", Bluetooth) make great for multiple settings whether its in the studio or office where you use the provided RCA jack for your computer or putting them into your Rec room to connect with BT and have great music playing. The variable switches provide space personalization as well. Depending on the size of space in the room you have a few options as well as a High-Frequency adjustment to ensure your audio is as clear as it can be.- Sound. Like most people do with a new stereo, amp, speakers, etc. the first thing I did was play a song and cranked the volume to 100, and to be honest, I was at first disappointed, "that's it? My ears don't hurt, they're not bleeding". I very quickly came to see this as a good thing. One of the best parts of these monitors is their ability to remain clear and crisp across the volume dial. Donner has very intentionally kept these from pushing and clipping the audio. This is good. It keeps your audio sounding good, it will keep your new monitors from blowing out, and protect your ears.Don't get me wrong, these things push, I will walk around my work office (where they are set up), close the door, go downstairs and still hear the audio CLEARLY. This is what is really incredible, I don't hear a muffled, bassy mess, I hear the song quite clear.- The included foam isolating stands are a great addition to ensure you don't get the rumble across furniture.Cons:- Frequencies. While the audio is crisp, there is something left to be desired on the Low frequencies. Songs with big bass still sound good but don't have the depth on the low end you may desire. The same goes for the top end, I found that the high frequencies were pushed a bit too hard, for this I simply switched the HF switch down (lowers the highs -2db) and that made a great adjustment. These are great, I really do encourage you if you're in the market to give a serious look at the Donner Dyna4 monitors. I've been very impressed and will be passing this recommendation on to others.

Convenient and versatile desktop speakers
The media could not be loaded. These studio monitors offer a clean sound and would be good to use as near-field monitors for a small home recording system. They would also work well as powered speakers for a home music system. I purchased the Dyna 3 model with the 3" woofer. If you want deeper lows, I would recommend getting the Dyna 4 with the 4" woofer because it can reproduce a wider frequency spectrum. That said, the ported speakers still sounded fine with the 3" woofer. The speakers can be EQ'd to help tune them to maximize their clarity or enhance the bass. The 40-watt class amplifier puts out 20W per cabinet which is enough to fill the room without getting overly loud. The amplifier accepts both 1/4" TRS inputs and RCA and there are also easy access auxiliary and headphone inputs on the front. The speakers are also Bluetooth capable which enables you to play back your audio from your phone, iPad or other Bluetooth devices. The connection was simple and quick. For audio recording reference listening you may want to connect directly to the speaker to ensure the widest frequency playback. The speaker cases appeared solid and lightweight. They're competitively priced and come with foam isolation pads as a nice extra value.
