Sturdy
I purchased this separately from a hammock that I got for my daughter. It's sturdy and she has had no problems with it. I just wish there had been more color options as she would have preferred white or a different color to black. It takes up a decent amount of space on her floor but she has a big room, so it works out, okay.

Mostly good quality
I ordered two of these because they were the perfect setting for my hammock chairs, and a great price. One of them went together no problem, the second one though it was so difficult to fit the top pieces together and now rocks back and forth rather than being sturdy like the first one I put together.

easy to assemble
This stand was perfect for my basket swing chair. I had it assembled in a few minutes. It is sturdy and has held up very well. I store it in the garage in the winter. No signs of rust, scratches or anything...serves it's purpose.

best stand
I like this stand because it allows for the best swing experience. others inhibit the ability to turn and face another direction and you swing into the bars on the stand which is aggravating. I was blessed to be able to try my niece's swing before I purchased my own. I knew I loved the chair but I hated the stand. If you get a chair I highly recommend this stand. You can bolt it down and probably should but I do not have mine bolted down. Sand bags will work if you don't have any way to bolt it down or dont want to put a hole in the floor of your porch. Otherwise just sit down carefully and don't swing out too far and you'll be fine. Mine is not weighted or bolted down and I've almost turned it over only once. It's pretty heavy. Somewhat easy to move if you need to slide it, but don't slide it if you don't want scrathces unless you used furniture sliders. Forget picking it up. You would probably have to take it apart some to move it. I would't call it portable at all. I love my swing and consider it the best purchase I've made all year.

Sturdy and easy to put together
Bought the FDW Hammock Chair Stands Hanging Hammock Stand as a gift. It was one of the highest rated and tallest stands I could find. This is a very sturdy stand, has some weight to it. Like the holes in the base of the legs if you wanted to add stakes to secure it to the ground. I was able to assemble this myself in about 25 minutes. Instructions are a bit rough but just looking at the picture and the parts gave me some direction. When a swing was attached, there was no sense or feeling like it was going to tip. I would recommend this and I'm glad I choose wisely.

VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE!
I was so surprised how easy this was to assemble! I had already made arrangements for someone to help, but I was too excited to wait the few days it would take for them to come over, so I did it myself. All the pieces were there; it was packaged well; and it arrived ahead of schedule! The instructions are a diagram versus step by step, but honestly, that is all you need! I have trouble working the TV remote, so trust me when I say it was easy to assemble! The only pieces you have to assemble are the base (two pieces you screw together), the C-frame section (two pieces you fit one in the other and screw together), and a hook at the top (open and snap it on). There are literally 2 bolts and 2 screws that you need to put it together. That's it! It even comes with the tools you need to screw it in (2 wrench things). It is very heavy and the stand base takes up a LOT of room, so be prepared for that. I love this!

Too short.
I like the concept but it's too low. All the hammock chairs I have gotten have our butt touching the bottom of the stand when we sit in it. I have to makeshift them to work. I thought this was all hammock chairs until I saw the friends and realized we chose poorly.
