Perfect fit. Great performance
One of my two pool skimmer doors finally failed by breaking free of the mount. And if one door failed, the other door would soon follow, so I ordered two replacements. I’ve replaced these doors several times in the past and the process is pretty straight-forward. After a quick search I ordered these new skimmer doors. They were offered at a good price (especially when ordering two) and came with good reviews. My order arrived on-time and in good condition.When trying to install these doors, however, I noticed the mounting brackets had been attached to both door backwards, preventing the door from pivoting open toward the skimmer basket. The doors simply snap on the mounting bracket, so fixing this unexpected error was easy. The new doors are installed and performing as expected.

It installed exactly where the old weir was. Seems like a solid replacement part and it operates smoothly. We will see how it works over time.Replacing the old weir requires a bit of blind work inside the skimmer, under the deck concrete. Fiddly work, but it's manageable and a simple operation (remove screw, replace weir, put screw back).

perfect fit for pentair
the two pack weir gate assembly was a perfect fit for my Pentair equipped pool. i got in the pool with mask, snorkel, and phillips stubby screw driver. the screw is a tight fit combined with an awkward position made this a little difficult. the next time i have to do this i may replace the screw with a hex and use a socket and ratchet.

Fixed 1970's SwimQuip skimmer
Sometimes a non-OEM part will do a fine job. This one installed just fine and works.Saving more than $20 over the one offered by national chain pool store (and that one looks to be non-OEM also).
