IBA is the most commonly used auxin in the rooting products market and is the main ingredient in top rooting solution products. IBA not only forms new, and permanent root tissues it accelerates the growth of the roots as well. It is a naturally occurring auxin found in all plants and has been widely studied for its ability to promote abundant root tissue. IBA-K is easier to use than IBA as IBA-K it is fully water soluble while traditional IBA is only soluble in alcohols, such as ethanol or methanol. Directions for use: To make a 1000mg/ppm solution add one gram to one liter. If You do not have a scale to weigh with, 1 teaspoon roughly equals 1.5 grams. Add this into 1.5 liters for a 1000mg/ppm solution. Then add this concentrate to Your feed water or reservoir. If You have a 25 gallon reservoir and want to add this 1000mg/ppm solution into it. Divide 1000 by 3.785(liters in a gallon) which equals 264.2(ppm/mg in gallon) and divide this number by 25(gallons in res.)That number equals 10.568(ppm/mg) in the reservoir. IBA-K is useful up to 3500mg/ppm per liter. You have two choices with application, either high dose a few times or low dose for longer duration, either works just fine. Use distilled water when making concentrates and label- date-refrigerate. Keep out of heat and light.
