This is a very good mirror, though it is a lot smaller than I would've liked. That said, it gets the job done. The actual mirror is 5". To get an idead if that works for you or not, take a compass and draw a 5" circle on a piece of paper and decide if that's big enough for you. Also, keep in mind that you have to be real close for an undistorted image. It is a very clear, nice, sharp image and you will see things you didn't know before existed. If you are someone who travels, this is a perfect, travel size, magnification mirror. The suction cup is very strong and the lightweight mirror stays in place. The light is a great, bright, diffused light that really helps you see yourself. I also like how it lights up my whole bathroom if the light is off. This will really come in handy if the electricity goes out; and the button on the face is so easy to turn off and on. Overall, I'm very happy with it. If you want or need a little bit bigger mirror, go for it. But if a 5", magnified, travel mirror is what you're looking for, this is perfect.

Love it! The mirror and mounting bracket are far nicer than I expected. The design and manufacturing are first-rate; the product has simple, clean lines and a perfect finish. The ball joint is smooth and secure, and the suction cup has a spring that helps to keep it mounted. The mirror is easy to rotate in all directions and it stays in place in any orientation. The LED lights are bright enough to illuminate my face, but not glaring. The mirror glass has no apparent imperfections and the 10X magnification provides a clear, perfect image. I used it this weekend when I needed to re-attach a temporary crown that came off my molar! It's very light weight, but a bit bulky for travel (not my intended use, so I don't care). I had been looking at similar wall-mounted mirrors that were over $200 and required in-wall wiring or a cord with plug-in. This mirror is so much better in so many ways. I am so pleased with it that I intend to give them as gifts.

Does everything I need it to do - provides magnification and light without requiring permanent attachment to a wall. Perfect for a small bathroom, is large enough to do the job and small enough to not block much of the existing mirror, stays up without trouble, is not terrible expensive, and uses batteries that can be found anywhere. So far the only draw backs are that the LED light is not especially bright and 10x magnification is rather extreme - one has to be close - like 3" or 4" away - for it to have proper focus. My bathroom has good light and my medicine cabinet has mirrored doors that swing towards a person and will hold position so, for me. these aren't deal breakers. Other buyers should consider these drawbacks. Update - May 6, 2017 - It wasn't long before the light quit working. As mentioned above, the unit I bought was never very bright. It's not a battery problem. The light started flickering, then it was as light as normal for a while, and now it's so dark there's no point in using the light at all. In a completely pitch black room I can sort of see the light on, and It does still flicker now and then. The mirror is still worth having and I continue to use it but if I were relying on the light I'd be quite dissatisfied.

This is an EXCELLENT little mirror!! This will be my third over 10 years. I travel a lot and am hard on them. I've dropped mine a few too many times, or forgotten it on a window of a hotel room. It is tough, holding up well to abuse and very bright. Suction cup is the best on the market, never found better, as long as your surface is smooth and clean.

I recently had cataract surgery and could not see my eyes close up anymore to apply eye makeup. I tried those make-up glasses with one lens, but quickly realized they didn't work for me. I use 2.5 readers now and after some trial and error with different compact magnifying mirrors, I figured out the size magnification size that would work best for me in my bathroom. This 10x mirror works great when I'm between 3 - 5 inches from it and the light from it allows me to apply eyeliner flawlessly. The suction is incredible! I followed the directions and cleaned the side of my painted medicine cabinet and was so surprised that it stuck to it without a problem. I wish this same mirror came in a smaller size for travelling. A suction cup on a small 10x travel mirror that lights up would be awesome. I can't tell you how often I've been in hotel rooms with terrible lighting and the vanity mirror was too faraway to be any help.

On the plus side, this is a really really good quality mirror. The magnification is amazing and distortion free. I never intended to mount this on a mirror not was I interested in the illumination. I only needed to secure it to a laminate shelf in my bathroom. After thoroughly cleaning the shelf before I dialed up the suction in the base, I returned an hour later to find that the suction had released. I can't manage to get this thing to stick for more than 30 minutes. My advice would be to use it as a standing mirror in a secure location. Not sure I would trust it to hang from a vertical surface like a mirror after my experience. Still, it was a better price on Prime Day than I could find locally for a magnifying stand mirror of the same quality.

Love this mirror. There were so many bad feedbacks, I hesitated to buy this mirror. But, it is the best mirror I have ever had. I love the fact that the mirror swivels, the 10X magnification and the way it attaches to my big mirror is great too. Very innovative! I have only had it a week, so can't comment on how long the batteries last, but so far, I really like this mirror! I like the communication directly from the company too! 12/27/17 - I am adding to my earlier review. This is the best mirror I have ever purchased! Really! I especially love the button to turn it on is on the front of the mirror. How convenient is that. It has never fallen off my bathroom mirror and the led lights are still burning brightly! Who could ask for more than that!

I bought this mirror, and I'm very happy with it. The suction is great, it doesn't fall off the mirror. And the magnification is perfect for my needs.

So far I am happy with this product. I take it to hotels and it suctions onto the room mirror well. Magnification is good.

I think 10x magnification requires a larger size for it to be easy to use. I need to spend to much time finding the right space to focus.

Very nice to use! The light gets dimmer quickly and so uses more batteries then I expected.
