Smooth writing excellent feel mechanical pencil. This is the basic version. No rubber finger grip, just a plastic pencil. Don't be fooled by the low price, this is a quality pencil. Last one I used lasted 6 months but I had put in some refill leads and found 1/4 inch eraser inserts. This little device is amazing. good lead control with each advance of pressing the eraser button. My wife had bought some cheapo ones from a no name Chinese source. That poor POS advanced the lead too much, the lead was constantly breaking, and the eraser just left a dark smudge. The BIC writes well, the lead doesn't break, and the eraser leaves behind a clean surface. These are inexpensive but turn out to be a high value item. I like the clean look and the tabs are in assorted colors.

I've used these Bic pencils for over 30 years. You can't really improve on something that works so well. Great price for the quantity you get.

Good pen quality and feel, you will run out of lead before it breaks or you run out of eraser. Then you just move onto the next one because of how many they are. They are sized just like any other pencil, and the design is standard as well. Good color selection, perfect to keep track of which one you are using. I’ve been using this same box of 40 for years now, I still haven’t run out.

I bought these mechanical pencils for my son. When he used regular wooden pencils, the lead kept breaking and we always had to sharpen them, which made his pencil case super messy. With these, everything is much easier. They write smoothly and my son likes using them — no more hunting for a sharpener! The only downsides: 1️⃣ The lead can still break sometimes 2️⃣ The extra lead refills are a bit expensive and you don’t get a lot with the pencils Overall, they work great for everyday school use. If the lead were a little stronger and the refills more affordable, they would be perfect!
