Faster, easier ironing.
This is a nice iron, at the expensive end of the scale. It looks sleek and smart, and is very efficient. Both the power cord and the steam cord are long enough to enable easy use, even if the base is on the floor. It heats up to temperature quickly. The base is easy to fill with water and the steam button is extremely sensitive, delivering a lot of steam almost instantly. While I wouldn't say my ironing time has been halved, it has certainly become easier and quicker. There isn't a temperature control dial/button (corresponding to the 'spots' guide on clothing labels), but the temperature appears, so far, to be suitable for all fabrics, so if you don't like having to remember to change the settings this is ideal. For me, there is one con: This is an expensive and well designed iron, but the designers neglected to include power cord storage. The steam cord slides in to a slot on the side, but there is nowhere for the power cord to be stored neatly out of the way. Wherever I try to put it, it isn't securely stored - and could possibly cause a problem if the iron is stored in a limited space as it could get caught on other items. I'm surprised the designers didn't think of this. It also spoils the overall look. However, it's a very good iron and I would recommend.

Great powerful iron
Fabulous iron, fast powerful steam. Had previously bought a Phillips one similar price and it was very loud like a screaming noise and also did not generate as much steam as this at all when held up vertical. Really pleased with this iron

Great 10/10
This is my 3rd steam generator, last one I had for 17 years!!!. I did buy a cheap alternative and I hated it. Looking at prices I thought expensive. This one came up just short of £220 and I’m so glad I ordered it . I had piles of ironing and kept putting the task off until I plugged this in,wow not disappointed.. glides easily and lightweight job done fast. This is the 1st one that the water tank removes to fill it up…definitely a plus well done Tefal .

Good steamer with some issues
Good steamer but no temperature control on an iron this expensive is baffling.Bought as a return so it was over half price, would not have paid £300+ for this. The normal and eco settings do give you 2 different steam volumes but do not change the heat.However....The Generator and iron both heat up quickly and ready to use in under 5 minutes.Ceramic base glides over materials, and is nicely shaped to go in between buttons, seams and in pleats etc.Water reservoir is a good size.Stand on iron base, is good, prevents falling over.Iron is also a nice light weight.Cable and hose Storage is and OK and carry clips are neat feature.**Updated** The iron was returned to amazon as it was taking a very long time to heat up and was spitting brown water all over our clothes. I suspect this is because it was a reconditioned unit and so had been previously repaired. Amazon reported back that it could not be repaired and refunded us.

The Best
Does what it says. I had the earlier version for many years and was happy with it thinking it couldn't be improved really but it has. Ironing in half the time and perfect. It is hard to store but that can't be helped. I have kept it in its box and pop it in a cupboard.

Really nice iron
The media could not be loaded. This iron cuts my ironing time in half, absolutely love it, the water tank can be a bit tricky to pull out, but once filled, very easy to put back in.

Awful!!!
Iron broke after a year. I sent it back for repair and it came back even more broken with the base unattached.
