Sturdy and does what I ask of it
I've had a weight bench for years but wanted to add a bigger bar and more weight. The bench I had is still in great shape so I only wanted something to hold the bar and the weights when I wasn't using them. This does everything I hoped.Pros:* Built really well - it is steel and able to hold the weights without shaking or making me thing the bar will fall on me.* Easy to put together - nothing much to say. It was easy to put together.* Fit in my home gymCons* I have more weights than this can hold so I still have some free weights on the floor. That just gives me a bigger push to keep putting on more weight. I'm still giving it 5 stars because I would buy it again.I am very pleased with the quality of the steel, the stability with weight on it, and overall fit and feel.

Perfect for my home gym
This was easy to assemble, and it’s much sturdier than I had anticipated. It’s great for the bench press, military press, and squats. I’ve had 250 lbs on it so far, and it’s been very sturdy. There is no wobble. Really a good product for home use.

One of the best at this price for a limited purpose
This is a quality rack at the price for bench pressing with a narrow 5' Olympic barbell. If there's anything else you want to do and you have space for a full-width rack, buy that instead. The uprights of a typical home rack are 45" or so apart. The shaft of a 7' Olympic barbell is about 52" between the sleeves and easily fits that sort of rack. A 6' barbell (43") and 5' barbell (37") won't. I only had room for a 5' barbell, so I needed a narrower rack. There are no narrow full racks in this price range, only adjustable ones like this. An adjustable rack is always missing the pull-up cross-member, so all the strength comes from the bottom horizontal brace.Amazon has a lot of adjustable racks. I differentiated by weight-- this one is 26kg relative to 18-20kg for the others and feels it. It arrived well-packed and took about 45 minutes to assemble with a small ratchet and a 16mm socket. The metal is painted and adequate, but still thin enough that electric tools are likely to over-torque the bolts and bow the frame members. The only build quality miss is that the upper bar holders are bare metal. Absent UHMW plastic, my bar immediately started removing paint here. The adjustment feature is simple and smooth, but laborious. You need to remove everything from the rack and unscrew and retighten four knobs. I consider this a fixed-width rack that's adjustable for my space, not the sort of thing I want to mess with in the middle of a workout. This is not a squat rack. You want long safety arms for squats. The small bar catches on this rack don't qualify. The best adjustable rack for squats I see is Kicode because it has 17" arms, though I opted against that one because I wasn't sure if my elbows would clear the safety arms benching with my narrower bar. If you're serious about squats, get a full cage. Even a $200 cage is easily twice as strong and stable as this rack and will stop you from stapling yourself to the floor.Incline benching is not great. The blue safety catches are intended to mount on the lower upright. They hang loosely on the extending upright if in the correct position for inclines. They'll still hold the bar, but I wouldn't want to test them with a sudden drop. Expect to roll the bar down your body if you need to bail on these.Dips and pushups are nonstarter. The minimum width is 29" or so. At 6'1, the bars are too wide to go more than halfway down and the uprights bow out another inch on each side at 180 lbs. I wouldn't attempt dips at all at a higher body weight. If you're big enough to do dips at this width without stressing your shoulders, you're probably too heavy.Which leaves bench-pressing. It's fairly good for this. I'd absolutely trust it for weights well beyond the 225 pounds or so I can manage, especially with extra weights on the lower peg. However, the holes for the safety catches and the uprights are both too widely spaced. With my flat bench, the safety catch puts the bar just a few inches above my neck and upper catches aren't as tall as I'd like them. Sloppy form resetting the bar at the end of the set could cause it to miss the catches entirely. All that said-- it's $100. There's nothing better new, adjustable, and shipped to your door, for that money.

Awesome rack
Awesome rack very sturdy. You just have to tighten it with your own tools. Don’t use the tools they provide people who say this rack is shaky or not steady just don’t tighten rack properly.

Fantastic, Sturdy, Perfect Home Gym
Excellent home gym! I finally took the plunge and swapped to home-only to try to get myself to stick to a solid weight routine. This is a sturdy, quality, almost-professional feeling rack. It doesn’t shake, it doesn’t feel like it’ll fall over, and it doesn’t make noises. It’s not quite as tall as a full rack, so you won’t be doing pull ups and chin-ups, but that works in its favor for a home gym when you don’t necessarily have a lot of space.Since it can hold upwards of 500 pounds, you can lift as heavy as you need. Worth every penny.
