Feel empowered and educated about decisions around your child!
This book was fantastic and easy to read! Dr. Paul does a great job explaining risks and why they’re risky as well as laying g out a thoughtful, easy to follow plan of you choose to do so. Would recommend to any parent!

Extremely informative
This is not just an anti vaccination book which made it great for both my husband and I. His family is basically no vaccination but without anything to back up what they're saying. My family and myself were not against vaccines. I started questioning them after my 2 year old got shingles a month or two after having the chicken pox vaccine. This book explains which ones a necessary or which ones to wait on or doing a delayed schedule. It talks about a lot of other things as well. Like Tylenol being bad and what to try instead. It's a great book for anyone who is against vaccines or is questioning them and wants more information. It is a very long book but I believe is split up by age. My husband is the one who read it.

This book was everything I hoped it would be, and so much more!
I just finished reading this whole book, and I'd give it more than five stars if that were an option. As a mom of two young boys, I wish this book had been published when I was pregnant with my first son, because I would have done so much differently. It's not just another book on vaccines. While it has incredible information about vaccines and his take on childhood vaccine schedule in this country, it is so much more than a book about vaccinations. In fact, even if someone decides to fully vaccinate after reading this book (which would surprise me), they're still going to learn a ton to help their child (and themselves) lead a healthier life if they follow even an ounce of the advice Dr. Paul Thomas and Jennifer Margulis provide in this book. I originally wanted to read this because I wanted to hear more about vaccines. I don't blindly follow the CDC schedule. After much research, I evaluate each vaccine separately, delay some, and reject some all together, so I thought this book would provide me even further direction with that. And it didn't let me down! I had read The Vaccine Book, but this book was SO much more helpful since it's a comprehensive book that discusses individual vaccinations in depth, but also a child's immunity, health, well-being, and happiness.Every pediatrician and future pediatrician should read this. For example, it makes sense that Dr. Paul Thomas recommends getting your child's titers checked with a blood test before kindergarten instead of giving a second dose of the MMR vaccine. 98% of his patients showed immunity to measles when their blood was tested, so they didn't need a second dose. Why inject someone with more toxins when not needed, especially when a titer test showing immunity is accepted for school entry. If you're the type that likes to read the "What to Expect..." series books (What to Expect the First Year, Toddler Years, etc.), you'll find that this book includes everything you'd read in those books and more. The book has sections on everything from breastfeeding to infant milestones, ideas to help your child eat healthy, and the importance of play. And while I don't yet have teenagers, I love that he wrote a whole section on what doctors talk about with teenagers when their parents are out of the room. I'll definitely be referring to this book for many years to come! I also felt like I got to be a fly on the wall during pediatrician appointments. Pediatricians do so much more than I ever imagined, and I now have even more respect for anyone in that profession! After I started reading it, I bought two extra copies and gave them away to friends. I'll be buying a few more in the next several weeks and giving them away as well. It's an invaluable resource, an easy read, an enjoyable read, and I'll go so far as to say it's probably the most useful and important book I've bought in my life. Buy it and read it. You won't be disappointed!

I feel compelled to write this lengthy review
I wish so badly I knew about this book when I was pregnant w my twins last year. They're 5 mos now. especially with them being premature. I would have many things differently. every pregnant person should read this. It's not an anti vaccine book but anti CDC schedule of vaccines book. I'm only a 1/3 of the way through this book and I am jumping on here because I have already learned so much and feel compelled to put out this review NOW! You have an opportunity to protect yourself and your unborn or current baby.If I could do my pregnancy all over again I would. and i didn't love being pregnant. But I would go back and say NO, with confidence, to the doctors who blindly push and recommend tylenol, vaccines, and drugs to pregnant women and newborns. I would say HELL NO to the TDAP vaccine that my OBs thought I was crazy for even questioning. I cannot believe how toxic and potentially problematic it is for an unborn baby. I got it because I trusted my doctors it was safe. Silly me!! I also had no idea how toxic tylenol is when pregnant or for infants. 1 in 45 kids has autism by following doctors' blindly. I'm realizing just how corrupt our healthcare system is. I am so angry with myself for not being educated before this. secondly I would say HELL NO to Hep B when my babies were first born. It was completely unnecessary. please beware of tylenol. I took it pregnant because it was "safe" per my doctors, and I've given it to my infants because "you should give your babies tylenol before and after their vaccines to avoid any discomfort" they'll feel. Those are just a couple of things I am passionate about sharing now- there are SO MANY MORE!! but just read the book :)It's interesting, entertaining, and explained so clearly. So while I am feeling extremely regretful and angry at my doctors/pediatricians, I am still learning ways to improve my twins' heath going forward and limit toxic chemicals. Good luck mamas! I hope this helps someone out there.
