Q: What is the hight limit on this? Is it too small for a tall 3 year old?

We have a really big 2 year old and he fits in it just fine. Our granddaughter had the same car (only pink, of course) and she used her's from 2 till 5.

This is a foot to floor ride on and does not have pedals.

Q: Can you assemble without dinosaur spikes on top?

You can choose to leave off the dinosaur spikes but there will be holes in the roof.
