Industrial‑Strength Hammer Built to Last!
I recently added the Estwing Sure‑Strike Engineer’s Hammer (64 oz) to my toolkit, and it’s quickly become the go‑to for heavy‑duty jobs. The fully forged steel head is hardened and tempered for rugged work, and the yellow fiberglass handle with non‑slip cushion grip keeps it feeling solid in hand—even during extended use.🏗️ Why It Rocks:Powerful Strikes: With a hefty 64 oz head and 14″ length, it delivers force that easily handles chiseling, fence‑post driving, wedge splitting—and even demolition.Comfort Meets Control: Balanced weight and a cushy grip make it feel lighter than expected—confirmed by reviewers who say, “for its weight it feels light”.Built for Durability: The fiberglass handle resists cracking under stress, and Estwing’s one‑piece forged tools are known for lasting decades.💡 Pro‑Tips:Perfect for wedge splitting or driving stakes.Although the head’s substantial, the grip keeps arm fatigue at bay for longer work sessions.Verdict:This hammer hits like a sledge but handles like a precision tool. If you're doing structural, landscaping, or demolition work and need both durability and control, the Estwing 64 oz is tough to beat. A true five‑star workhorse.

It is an Estwing hammer period
Estwing builds very good hammers and this one is no exception. The head is attached to a fiberglass handle, and the two pieces seem like they should last forever. Very comfortable to hold and swing.

Great small sledge hammer, so I own two.
I'm very pleased with how tough this 4 lb sledge is, and my first one got so much use that I needed another. The handle is strong and doesn't transmit vibrations very much. The steel head seems to be even tougher and can tolerate striking everything from wood to metal. It's also the right size to be useful with one hand or two depending on how strong you are. It works really well for splitting wood with a wedge and pounding in fence posts. I highly recommend it.

leaving them working better than ever
When you heft this hammer in your hand, it is at once menacing, and provokes deep thought because it is named an "Engineer's Hammer". This conjures imaginations of some demigod of engineering running around and thoughtfully, carefully WHACKING machines in just the right spot, at just the right angle, with just the right amount of force to instantly repair them from the outside in, leaving them working better than ever. Nothing like 40 oz of forged steel says "Let's handle this one like engineers!"In full disclosure I use this to indelicately whack things apart when I'm working on my car. It is also good for demolition.

Great hammer
Estwing makes quality hammers. I’ve only had this hammer a little while, but I have an Estwing claw hammer that’s been used heavy over the years, the handle and everything is still in very good shape. I expect this hammer to be quite good also.
