The light projected from this item is bright and very vibrant. There are many choices of color with each setting a different mood. The color is bright enough to light up a dark room but soothing enough to still be able to rest. Even with lights on the color is still vibrant enough to be seen. I used this item as a prop for a dance routine with gym lights on and then transitioned it into a night light for my daughter’s room. She loves picking the color before bedtime.

This is a great little globe. I may venture out to buy the bigger sizes. The one I bought was slightly smaller than a bowling ball. They’re really nice. We have it in our stairwell to give some light midway up. We can turn it on at the bottom of the stairs and it gives a nice glow. You can pick ever changing colors or pick one color. I have them on carpeted stairs, so there is an issue that the plug-in area is on the bottom of the globe, so on a smooth hard surface that’s not gonna work as effectively as having the globe basically nestled into my carpet. It also has to be charged. It is not battery operated. Luckily, I’ve got mine plugged into an extension cord that goes to the top of the stairwell connected into what used to be our Christmas lights, so whenever those lights are on upstairs it’s charging the globe while they’re lighting the landing. Due to that, I don’t know how long a charge last. I really like it. I’ll probably buy a couple more. It’s very pretty.

Of all the different colors, I find I really only use two: one that approximates candle light and one that approximates a red dusk. The white color is too cold. Maybe I'll use another color when trying to extend the atmosphere of a highly colorized scary movie into the room.The Roku mute button turns the aqua lights on. The volume down button turns them on to the last-used setting. The volume up button turns them off. This can be annoying as I'll need to readjust them each time after adjusting volume on the television.The battery doesn't last very long. Unplugged, I need to recharge mine every 1.5 days, and that's only after evening usage. So, consider using them permanently plugged into an outlet to avoid this hassle.Also, I have an 8" and a 12". The larger one doesn't get as bright as the smaller one. Light output does feel fairly even, especially at a distance or 12'.

This is a cool item. My nephew had one and of course I had to get one. It changes colors or stays the color you set it on. It is very relaxing to look at. Good purchase.

cord placement is on the bottom so the light doesnt sit flat. There is no golden light yellow warm light as advertised. Cheap plastic ball so the seam where it was molded shows right down the middle of the ball. GARBAGE FOR THE MONEY

It's got lots of colors and color patterns to choose from. You can charge it and run it without plugging it in, which makes it portable.Downsides:The remote is very flimsy, and the light isn't very good without it.The charging port is on the bottom, so if you want it to be plugged in while using it, the ball will sit on the charger, making it wobbly and unstable.

I took chance despite the bad reviews. I've had it on for 2 nights and I LOVE it. I keep it plugged in all the time. I wanted a warm amber glow in my bedroom I could read before bed in, and for it to be gentle enough I could fall asleep with it on. It is perfect for that. The orange color is a warm orange pink glow. Very , very cozy. Just bright enough to be able to see around the room, but dim enough to fall asleep reading to without having to turn it off. I have night terrors and often have to turn a light on at night if the night mares are bad enough. This glow ball is just bright enough to not need a light if I wake screaming at 3am which I often do. I'm loving it so far .

The media could not be loaded. The light was exactly what I was looking for. Its globe shape with a frosted texture helps diffuse the brightness, making the space feel super cozy. I usually keep it set to the orange color, but I occasionally switch to the smooth mode, which transitions seamlessly between colors. This feature creates a calming vibe or even a fun, party-like atmosphere when needed.That said, the remote is a major downside. As other reviewers have mentioned, it’s poorly designed. Because of this, I couldn’t install the light in the lofted area of my house, as the remote couldn’t reach far enough to turn the light on or off. A better remote would make this product perfect.Still, I primarily bought this for the light itself, and in that regard, it exceeded my expectations. It’s everything I hoped for. I’ll definitely be buying larger versions for another space I’m planning in the future.Thanks!
