Absolutely flawless harp. I have tried to learn how to play on cheap harmonicas dozens of times and ended up trashing them quick. This Special 20 is a game changer, I’m actually making sounds that are bearable to hear! 10/10 would recommend for any beginner! Easy playability, great tone. 4 days in and 4 songs learned.

Built really solid nothing shakes or rattles. East to pick up and play, looks real sharp with a polished stainless body. Plays easy and ive got fairly large hands good fun for around the campfire

This Hohner Special 20 harmonica arrived in perfect condition. This is my second Special 20 in several years and the quality is still outstanding! What I like about this model is its simplicity and sound. Its carrying cases and cleaning towel make it a breeze to maintain the polished stainless finish, keeping it looking good for years to come.

Good quality, you can scan a QR code and get an awesome beginners instruction book with instructions, simple songs to play right away. For years I’ve wanted to learn the harmonica. I’ve bought the gift shop cheap harmonicas before from the likes of Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and House of Blues but they’re really cheaply made. When you try to play the 1 or 10 holes, you end up using a lot more air to force the note than you really should have to. So I decided to buy this product to give it another go. Plus, the picture showed a box with art of my favorite harmonica player, John Popper. So it HAD to be good, right? It is. Between this and the $10 harmonicas marked up at gift shops, the difference is night and day. You can easily hit the blow/draw on the 1 and 10 holes without any extra effort, which means you won’t be straining on the high/low ends and then failing to single out notes in the middle because you didn’t drop your effort back to what the rest of the holes require to produce the sound. For the product itself, the beginner manual isn’t anything too special, you can find just about everything in there online for free. The raised key stickers are nice but I won’t be using them simply because I don’t want to ruin the sharp look of the harmonica itself. The case is solid plastic, nothing too special but you don’t really need anything more than this to protect it. The polishing cloth is surprisingly thick and feels like it will last. A quick note, there is no pouch in this bundle as the title says, which is the reason for the missing star. It’s not a dealbreaker but don’t buy this expecting everything pictured or as advertised in the title. Also, the box art is different now. John Popper does not grace the cover of this one. You can see what actually ships from the attached picture. Overall, very solid piece and a must buy if you’ve been frustrated with the cheap gift shop harmonicas before. They shouldn’t be that hard to play as you’ll see if you buy this one.

Definitely worth the extra money to get a quality harmonica to learn on. I've played around with the cheap ones, but they just frustrated me. This one seems to be one I can learn on.

I've been purchasing this harmonica several times as I gave it out as gifts. The case that came with it has always been this grey generic case; however, the most recent one just looks so sleek and pleasing that I wish I didn't purchase a side case. Definietly has more protective covering and ihe inside also firmly grips the harmonica so it won't wobble around.

Overall, my grandson loves it. He is having an issue with the N2 draw being flat. Could this be the fault of the harmonica? How do we fix it?
