I've had other lead holders clamps run out really quickly. This one has lasted a bit better. It isn't very balanced but works alright. The grip is good

It fell apart before I could even use it.
The tip fell out the first time I used it.It fell in a wall form and now the pencil is useless,I bought 2 and the other one the cap falls off all the time.Buy a Staedtler,much better.

Lead slips
The grabbing tongs do not retract strongly enough to keep the lead from slipping back when trying to make a dark mark. Have to manually push the mechanism back to lock it.
