Bought this for a new MacBook. Outlets work well. I have a different model for my laptop that has an Ethernet port and is a touch larger, but if you don't need the occasional hardwired connection, this is a great choice. I was skeptical because of the price, but it's the one my family member wanted, so I thought we'd give it a shot. He's had it for over a year, and it's held up. He uses it primarily for HDMI to a monitor, the occasional USB-B thumb drive, and the SD port for his camera card.Works, inexpensive, small. Good choice!

Nice material and finish. The wire doesn't feel flimsy. I haven’t had any problems and the video quality is great through HDMI connector which was my main concern. Im going to try to clear out some documents from my memory by putting it on an card or usb. I have a Huawei 15” Matebook pro that only has one usb outlet and 2 c USB. I haven't had a problem yet.

It works fine, but there’s one issue. It will not transfer image from IPad pro to TV via HDMI.

I love it’s size, I can take one unit with me that’s small instead of multiple units

This was purchased for use with my new I Pad. The main purpose was for “back up” in case my bluetooth buds’ battery died. I thought it had the 3.5 mm plug, it did not. My bad for not paying closer attention. Returned and found the correct dongle

Does not output HDMI video from iPad Pro M1 to monitor.

This gives me an additional access to get other devices connected with my laptop which has less number of connection . Very sleek !
