He was essentially using caveman tools around his house and got him this. Says it’s everything he needed and has helped him save a bunch of time! Bought it for him a while back and saw it out when he was building a gundam just the other day! Seems to be holding up, doing well and worth the money, case is very basic and a cheap plastic, could probably replace it.

I recently started buying and building the model kits (Bandai Gundam and Kotobukiya Muv-Luv). This tool kit greatly helped in getting the job done.Although, after 3 days of use, the yellow piece already showed many dents which can’t be helped since it’s plastic. It did separate pieces for me lol.. Honestly for this price, it’s pretty good and you don’t need like bajillion of tools unless you’re very serious in like sanding and painting, then you’d probably will find something affordable and very durable.Pros:- easy to carry- less tools needed to build model kits- affordable for people that are just getting startedcons:- Yellow separator piece is plastic so you’ll create dents- nipper tool may need to be sharpen (cheap-like)

Definitely pleasantly surprised with the quality of this set. It's pretty small so it's a good tool set for beginners or for someone wanting to replace some of their old tools or get extras (which is what I bought it for). The side pliers ROCK and are honestly more than worth the purchase all on their own. They're sharp as can be and do their job excellently. Been doing a fabulous job with both my Gunpla and Moderoid kits so far and have high hopes for some of the resin GKs I have waiting in the wings as well.Anyway, I highly recommend this set, especially if you catch it on sale. Solid stuff.

Good option for Warhammer 40k figures. The pliers are very sharp and useful. The hobby knife is a little rickety and could be sturdier. The metal file is way too rough for 40K but you don't need it. The buffing file's black/white side I found most useful for polishing off plastic left from the sprues, but 6 models in it's trashed. Looking for some replacements. Overall great value

I like the variety of items in here and I found them very useful. Especially the paper folding tool. I also like the wire clippers. Overall, a very handy kit for crafters.

The kit came with everything show, the tweezers are sturdy and quite "pokey". The hobby knife is ok,material quality is 50/50, its hollow (I think) but doesn't feel overly "cheap". The case was plenty roomy, even having enough room to accommodate my two other hobby knives, and 2 ball stylus tools. Great kit for the price.

As a forever lover of gundam but a beginner gunpla enthusiast, I definitely did not expect such high value from such a well priced product! From my first zaku gouf hg to my first MG sinanju, this trusted little rectangle is all you need for beginner hobby enthusiasts! I’ve bought 1 for myself and 2 as gifts to friends who got into model kits as well! Depending on your preference of cutting and grinding, I believe eventually you will need new files, but it definitely lasted as it needed for the price!

I'm a first time model maker, and I primarily purchased this kit for the cutters. Surprisingly, I've used everything in the kit, and I'm glad it was all included. Good price and reasonable quality; what a great value!
