BLOCK BLACK CROSSBOW ARCHERY TARGET - Its high density layered foam design makes the Block Black Crossbow target the BEST crossbow target on the market. THE BLOCK BLACK CROSSBOW TARGET COMES IN 2 SIZES! OPEN LAYERED POLYFUSION TECHNOLOGY = EASY ARROW REMOVAL! Fusing the internal layers to the inner target wall results in more uniform layer compression which, in turn, means easier arrow removal. And, easier arrow removal means less shooter fatigue, which means you'll get more and better practice! LONGER TARGET LIFE! PolyFusion also results in longer target life. Because the layers are fused in place, they hold their position. Arrows find their way between layers. Previously, when an arrow hit a layer head-on, the layer would buckle. This resulted in layer damage that reduced target life. STOPS ALL BROADHEADS & FIELD TIPS! Review: Safety most important and good reviews - Worked great to stop a crossbow bolt for the few times I fired the bow. I had some problems with the bow so not many bolts entered the block. Bolts are difficult to remove from the block material due to its density(actually that is a good characteristic). Recommend using a lube designed to facilitate bolt removal. I used a product called Arrow Snot and it made removal quite easy compared to not using product Review: Block Black Crossbow - Great target for high speed crossbows (365 FPS). The target stopped my carbon bolts (arrows) without damaging the fletching. The target is also light and easy to move around. Initially the bolts were a lttle difficult to extract but once I wiggled them a little they came out easier. Additionally, after using the target for a while the arrows came out a lot easier.

Durable stops 390 FPS bolts
Nice target. My bolts stop before the fletching. Not hard to remove if you car wax your bolts which I have always done with arrows also. My muzzy trocars pull out without bad damage if you go slow and let the arrow twist as you remove it.

Love the target
Love the target. The only two drawbacks are that the arrows don’t pull out as easy as I would like and it moves when an arrow hits it. When I’m sighting in my bow it is a bit of a pain to have to walk down to the target and either put it back on the stump or face it back towards where I’m shooting room. Part of the reason may be bc I am shooting a fast bow 370fps.

Works Great
I originally got this because my Morrell Bonecollector Double Duty 400 Broadhead Target was just too big heavy and cumbersome to take with me to shoot at. Plus it only works with field points and I had to get sighted in with some broadheads. I have an Excalibur Vortex (around 330fps) and a Mission MXB-360 (360fps with a 22" arrow) and this target easily stopped all bolts without them getting buried. The shots were from 20 out to 50 yards and the bolts stopped fine and came out easily each time. I guess if I was shooting a 400fps like the Scorpyd or the Ghost 410 I might think it would bury the bolts at shorter ranges but Id guess if you were 30+ yards youd be fine. But for the price this target works great and is a good size and weight to make taking it out with you shooting is convenient.

If I could do a zero rating, I would.
First off, I'm using a crossbow that shoots 370fps, and when I say it buried itself in this target, I mean all the way up to the fletching's, and into the shed behind it. Second, it was extremely hard to get the bolts out even with a puller. Third, it destroys the target face when you pull them back out, don't see this lasting long at all without being destroyed. This was all with field tips, so I tried it with my practice tip from rage, and it stopped a little better, but still buried it more then half way which made it REALLY hard to get it back out with the wider tip, and tore a chunk out of the front of the target about 2 inches. This all makes me extremely made considering the price of this target. A guy from work told me about a shooting bag which after a mail in rebate only cost me $20. Its heavy and terrible to move around, but at least it stops the bolts only a couple inches in, and its super easy to pull them out. Sure wish I had done this in the first place cause this target is junk.

Great target to stop bolts!
This target works great so far! My bolts stuck out the back about 2 inches. It is hard to pull them out so I just screwed the field point off and tapped it flush with a rubber mallet and then put the target so I could put my knee on it and pull bolts out. It's a little bit off a process I know but I believe it's the easiest way to remove bolts without a lot of effort. Would recommend if your wanting to stop a fast crossbow bolt. I shoot a Centerpoint Sniper which shoots around 345-350fps with my setup.

Great target for a compound bow
No idea the difference between a compound and crossbow target. You can read and read and read but this was so much cheaper than the compound target so I bought it. I'm very happy with this target. I've put about 300 shots into the target so far and it's holding up great!
