Beautiful color, easy smooth application but, looks like Black Chrome not Oil Rubbed Bronze.
This is great paint. The color is amazing, it goes on smoothly and I had no issues with the spray nozzle. However, the color wasn't as expected, it had a gun metal metallic grey look? More like a black chrome which doesn't match the oil rubbed bronze on my chandelier I was hoping for. I was needing that color to paint a ceiling medallion for my light fixture. I used two coats hoping it would eventually have a slight brown hue like shown on the cap but, no luck. So, in desperation, I ended up using a very fine mist of 2X Satin Espresso over the top of it and that made it the perfect color that I was looking for. Finished the detailing with Gilding Wax in an Antique Gold. Note: The ceiling medallion was a primer bright white and made of PU "Polyurethane....it took forever to cure, 3 days worth, partly because of the cold weather. It couldn't have turned out any better. Even though it wasn't the right color, per se, it ended up being the perfect base that I needed to get the Oil Rubbed Bronze look. At least now I know the formula! I did post a picture of the 3 items I used to make this happen. It will be my go-to next time I need that metal bronze look.

Sadly not the color I had hoped and didn’t spray
The can it shows in this review is not the one I’m reviewing. It keeps going to this color when I am reviewing the Pearl Mist that I also ordered. This Dark Cherry is a good color and I had no issues with it. I am updating my Christmas tree ornaments and wanted to freshen up the pearl ones. I could not find the color I need locally so I ordered the Pearl Mist. This paint is more clear with a little sheen to it. Not what I wanted. I’ve used this type of spray paint many times before. This can looked perfectly fine until I was shaking it and it started running down the can and splattering everywhere. Along with continuing to barely spray for a few minutes even tho my finger was not on the button, getting the spray everywhere. Needless to say it’s not usable. I may can get enough out to use a brush with it on something else. I think I’ll shop locally for paints so I can see the color and can deal with problems in person.

Excellent Coverage and Finish – Perfect for All Surfaces
The Rust-Oleum 314558 Universal All Surface Metallic Spray Paint in Black Stainless Steel is a fantastic product! I used it to give my metal furniture and a few other home projects a sleek, modern look, and the results were amazing. The metallic finish is smooth, even, and looks just like stainless steel, giving everything an upscale feel. Application was super easy — the spray nozzle gave consistent coverage, and the paint dried quickly without any streaks. It's also perfect for multiple surfaces, including wood, metal, plastic, and more, making it incredibly versatile. I love how durable the finish is and how it holds up against the elements. ✅ Pros: Beautiful metallic finish with a high-end look Great coverage and easy to apply Works on multiple surfaces – wood, metal, plastic, and more Dries quickly with no streaks or smudges Durable finish that resists chipping and fading ❌ Cons: The spray can may run out quicker on large projects (but the coverage is great for smaller-to-medium items) 💡 Tips: Shake the can well before use to ensure an even coat. Apply multiple thin coats for the best coverage and finish. Mask off areas you don’t want to spray, as the metallic finish can be tough to clean up. Bottom Line: The Rust-Oleum Universal Metallic Spray Paint is a high-quality, versatile product that delivers a sleek and professional finish on all surfaces. Perfect for home projects, repairs, or adding a touch of style to any item. Highly recommended!

Good brand
Love the hammered look for outdoor applications. it’s easy to work with and masks flaws. Still undecided about the redesigned spray head.

Honest review: very impressed it has withheld freezing temps, rains, and sun
I bought this paint to repaint some outdoor chairs we got from a neighbor. I was very impressed with the color. Pros: I only needed one coat of paint as it does apply pretty thick The shine is great It was easy to use It has withheld freezing temps, rains, and sun so far Cons: Like any spray paint, it does smell Overall, I would say it was worth the money. I did have to use 2 cans for 2 chairs and a table, but they turned out exactly as I wanted them to so no complaints here.

Great - BUT second can trigger leaked! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE
Update Review - increased to 5 STARS -- Contacted Rust-Oleum Customer Service - they were amazing and proactive they are FedExing a new replacement and will inform their Quality Control about the issue. VERY RESPONSIVE - BOTH THEIR PRODUCT AND SERVICE ARE 5 STAR!!!@ This paint is excellent - bought two cans - HOWEVER - the second can leaked. It was good I was wearing latex gloves to minimize clean up - which would have been minor - if the second can worked like the first. Below is a photo of the leaky can. It leaked from the very start but I had to use it to finish the job after expending the first can. I would give this 5 stars - but - the possibility of leakage and reliability is concerning. I did like the trigger paint cap - which although it was the source of the leak - was very comfortable and worked great for the first can. I will also try contacting Rust-Oleum Customer Svc Number on the can - I am certain they will help - Always a GREAT value!!

Even, perfect coverage. No dripping, doesn't kill your finger!!
Bought a super heavy, expensive Buddha (pure cement) for my backyard about four years ago. Living in Florida, by Venice coast, he started looking blah. I power washed him (not full force!) and he still looked "dingy." I absolutely love the Champagne color! Not super sparkly! Perfect! The pics have a shadow on the left but in person, he looks sooo cute!!! I'm buying more for two awesome metal solid side tables that I'll also power wash first as well. (Ignore landscaping, it's getting there!!). Super happy with this product (except for the price!!)

Love this paint. Any color of it but especially this its held up to the ruff elements of Savannah weather outside and in. Ive used it for plant pots, metal decor, windchimes, benches, crafts. Even door knobs. This color great especially in bright light
