Very disappointed. This filter does not work as advertised. With my previous filter from a cheaper brand, there was no smell in the lower chamber, and the water always looked and smelled clean. Unfortunately, that’s not the case with this filter. The water develops an odor and does not look pristine. I expected much better performance.

Arrived in about one week. Packaged well and ready to install in my alexapure. Definitely needed to be replaced as the water flows thru much faster. Price was also better than from alexapure website.
