I like that this is very quiet; stainless steel is easy clean. The volume of water lasts for a good two weeks if need be, and because its running, filtered water it stays FRESH. Its so simple to assemble and clean, or disassemble to move. My new rescue cat took a few days to figure it was HER water, but now uses only it; and my small dog goes into the Cat Room to drink from it now too. It was relatively easy to assemble and it is very quiet while running. I like that this water fountain is stainless steel and the flower on the top is cute. The filter is way easier to get to than my previous water fountain And I like the light, although you can’t turn it off. I wish it had feet on the bottom of the fountain as it’s just a flat ring and seems as though spilled water would just get trapped under it. This concerns me bc of the possibility of the metal rusting or mold growing under the fountain due to lack of circulation of air under the fountain. The water that your cat can get to is shallow and hard to reach because of the water coming out of the flower. So far my cat does not seem to have tried to drink from it but has investigated it. There is a lot of water in the fountain but not above the top pan where the cat can access it. Overall it’s a cute design but the jury is out on functionality for my cat.

I bought this for my senior cats, because they really needed it. Easy to assemble, easy to clean which I did regularly and very quiet. I seriously loved this fountain. After the second month, no matter where the water level was it was noisy! and on the 3rd month motor stopped working and now the water won't run through. I do have hard water, which I'm not even sure is the issue because like i said, i cleaned it thoroughly and regularly. So I am soaking the motor in vinegar to see if that helps. If not, then sadly, I don't recommend buying this product.EDIT: soaked motor a few hours in vinegar and back to working again. So if you have hard water, it's probably a good idea to soak motor in vinegar for a few hours when you clean and replace filters.

This is an excellent little device! My cats love it and it ensures they remain hydrated. This is something critically important given that previous cats suffered from kidney issues that we sadly discovered may have in part been due to failure to drink enough water. Be sure to change the filters AND to clean the water intake motor periodically. It will last longer if you develop a routine around this.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this fountain for my dogs because they are in the house all day while I'm at work and they haven't been wanting to drink out of a dish anymore. They only drink from a spigot outside. Since we purchased this fountain, they are finally willing to drink inside again. The fountain constantly circulates the water, so it stays fresh and clean. Since this is a cat fountain, there is some splash over when my dogs drink from it, but this was remedied by putting the fountain inside of their old water bowl. The kit comes with a "splash pad" as seen in my video, but I have my fountain on wood floors so I didn't want to chance it. The fountain is pleasant to listen to and adds a nice ambience to the kitchen. All of my guests are curious about the fountain and want to know where we got it. Anothet bonus is that I don't have to refill it often. It stays full for 4-5 days and still continues to circulate. The noise in my video is from my husband picking up grocery bags, it isn't the fountain. The kit also comes with cleaning brushes and extra filters. I thought this was a good value for the money. There was minimal assembly needed. Basically just install the filter.

Unfortunately my cats refused to use this fountain. I followed the instructions and advise about introducing it to them slowly. After taking away the regular water bowl, we noticed one of our two cats jumping on and off the counter. She was drinking from the sink. There was also less urine in both litter boxes.I finally took away the fountain and put back the regular water bowl and the cat that was jumping on the counter went straight to the bowl to drink right away and was at it for several minutes drinking from it. It’s unknown about the other cat if she was doing the same thing. She sort of knows not to go on the counter so she may have done it without us noticing if we weren’t home or in that area of the house.Now I feel horrible that she was that thirsty. The other cat is still sleeping so she hasn’t seen it yet but I will pay attention to see how she reacts.Keep in mind that just because this was our experience, it doesn’t mean it will happen to everyone. All animals react differently. I highly recommend leaving a bowl of water maybe in a different part of the house for your fur babies before taking it away completely or maybe wait until you see them use the fountain for several weeks before taking away their bowl. These are things I wished I had done and don’t know why I didn’t think of it before. But I’m not up for doing this now because I feel so bad this happened. I don’t want to risk anything else. We had this for about 2-3 weeks. Anyways,I will be returning this since it didn’t work out.
