I have been buying this brand as individual cans for years, but for some reason my local grocer stopped carrying them how lovely to find these at just about half the price!

Cans arrived in good condition. Expiration date is almost 3 years from now. Like others have stated though, these ARE NOT whole clams. They still work great for pasta dishes or chowder.

I love these clams. The quality is great , texture is as expected, they go great in my linguine sauce, color is as expected, and they taste incredible.

Unfortunately, for me this was just awful. I bought to add to canned clams in white sauce as I like lots of clams in the sauce. My main gripe is the smell that leeches to the taste. It NEVER goes away not matter what or how much you add, of the what, it NEVER goes away. I bought 2 cans and simply thru the other away. Nobody wanted it. I had high hopes that turned into a train wreck.

I'm undecided on this review. The clams are plenty some are whole some look like something chewed it up and threw it in the can. Quality is understandable as eww 🤢. No dents in the can. Value is ok. Easy to prepare. Just wasn't sure what the smash up looking clam mess was about.
