Very sturdy and easy to roll around
I needed a vanity stool for my bathroom, but I needed one that would safely support my weight (250 lb) and had wheels. I would have liked something "prettier" and looked at many but most of the prettier ones just didn't quite fit the bill - especially for my weight. This one really isn't bad looking, and it matches the black in my granite countertop. It rolls very easily, so I can push it into another room if I need it there, so it is really multifunctional for me. I do have to make sure it doesn't roll out from under me when I lean over or sit down on it, but that is a problem with all stools with wheels that I learned long time ago! It is very sturdy and solid do feel safe sitting on it. The seat is nicely padded as well. Assembly was easy and I was able to put it together myself. It came with everything needed. I am very glad I chose it and would definitely recommend it.

A good seat for musicians
I have a digital piano that's up a little higher than conventional, in order to match up with a stack of keyboards I can play while standing. But I mostly ant to play it while seated, and adjustable piano benches fall a little short. Then I found this—perfect for the task, and I like that it has a foot-rest ring. The wheels make it easy to scoot out of the way as needed. The ability to adjust it lower makes it a good choice for playing guitar as well. Some might prefer fabric, being less slick, this type of spinning seat of wheel requires the person to sit centered for safety, so I don't view it as a problem, and cleanliness will be better. The padding has a good level of compression for support and comfort.

Great guitar stool
I use this to play guitar. Most guitar stools do not have wheels and are not height adjustable. So I started looking at drummers throans. But they don't have wheels. For some reason this was recommended in the similar items section. I looked at it, read about it and bought it. Great purchase. This was easy to put together, is adjustable, very sturdy, moveable and very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time.

Treacherous but Effective
This is a really nice looking stool and it moves around very easily, almost too easily; it's fast. This is what makes it a bit dangerous. I almost fell over a few times trying to sit on it or by leaning over while on it. Another reviewer mentioned this as well. I make sure it's against something solid before I try to sit on it, especially if it is raised up higher. Once I'm securely on it; it's great. The wheel base is narrow enough to go through narrower doors/areas. It's easily maneuverable. The height adjustment is really nice and easy to use. I will say that the 'updated' instructions did not apply to the one I received. They say to remove the black cap before assembly but there was no black plastic cap over the gas cylinder valve so I thought it was referring to the orange plastic piece that is the valve itself and thought I broke it. Customer service was really helpful and I got it all figured out and it has functioned as it should. After using this stool; I would've liked one with a little wider seat and maybe wider wheels. I never lock the two wheels that have locks to hold the stool in place; it still spins around a little. Those pieces that you push down to lock them stick straight out when unlocked and they have hit my feet and ankles when I've been using the stool which is unpleasant so you just have to watch where your feet are in relation to them. The leather cushion is sagging a bit on one edge after using it quite a bit but it actually makes it easier to sit on and a little more comfortable. It's a very sturdy, useful stool, just be careful using it.

Comfortable cushion, very sturdy, smooth casters
I bought this stool mainly because of the option to lock the casters. I am disabled and it makes it safer to sit down on. The seller was nice enough to send me an extra locking caster at no cost. The stool has a thick cushion and is very comfortable. The rubber casters are smooth and quiet. Overall the stool is very sturdy and seems to be well made. The stitching in the faux leather and chromed base are nice features. Looks great in my garage.

Very nice.
Nice quality. It goes up and down very nicely and it doesn't lose its compression. Easily assembly straight out of the box. Does the job well is made to do. It would buy again.

Easy to assemble, rolls well, but hard as a rock!
I have purchased two of these stools....one with a back, and just recently a backless one. I liked the first one so much, it maneuvers easily on it's rollers and is very cushy and comfortable. I had to remove the back to allow it to be stored under a desk, so when I ordered a second one, I ordered the backless one. The backless one is like sitting on a BRICK - no cushiony comfort at all. Very disappointed in this!!
