Not the best way to play this classic game, however it is undeniably cool to have a playable mini Aracde on your shelf. If you have the disposable pennies for a great looking item of interest to sit amongst your gaming swag and not your primary way to play this title then I recommend it.

For someone who has fond childhood memories of SF2 cabinets back in the 90s this product is a real treat. It's an arcade mame ROM so it's obviously a identical recreation in both visuals and sound. The construction of the cab, buttons and stick seem solid enough. The only flaw is the LCD screen they've used, its a bit on the cheap side, Very Poor viewing angles

Its a fun representation of Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition arcade machine that became popular in the 90s. PROS: -The unit is bigger than I expected it to be, and is a good representation of the original Dynamo can back in the 90s. -Aesthetically, it looks authentic and premium. It has the original Champ Edition artwork. -Its somewhat playable, with responsive buttons. -Lighted marquee, screen, and 'coin door'. -Champ Edition arcade ROM. -USB C or AA batteries for power. -Dipswitch access. CONS -Marquee light is a little dim in comparison to the screen and coin door light. -Infrequent performance issues, with some slight slowdown and lowered frame rate when things get a tad busy -The joystick is small and difficult to use. It's definitely not an IL stick or Sanwa. This is the most prominent issue for me, and affects functionality of the unit. SUGGESTIONS -It would be good if there was the option to plug in USB controllers or fight sticks. This would improve enjoyment and longevity of what is a nice looking unit.

Seems to be the upgraded machine which is a bonus as the advertised photo displays the older model. Machine features a backlight l, amazing feel buttons and it does take a bit of a while getting used to the stick but it works fine. Arcade operates with 4 AA batteries - would be a bonus if it was usb charged!

Terrible. Controls are really bad. And the sound is glitchy. Donot recommend.

Nice bit of kit to look at, seen alot of reviews where people complain over the stick I didn't find it a problem. The sides however are fingerprint magnets but that's not my issue. My issue is this runs the arcade rom which is clearly evident on startup but it seems the hardware inside isn't powerful enough for it. Right at the start when scrolling up the building during the intro its jerky and can almost see what feels like screen tearing, if you know the original rom or play it through mame you will be able to clearly see and on occasion hear the difference. Anyways in game runs fine MOST of the time but this machine has some god awful frame skipping turned on which cannot be accessed. Projectiles don't look right, jumping can feel clunky and jerky why oh why release an arcade rom on what seems to be hardware to weak to run it. This game is over 20 ( nearly 30 ) years old surely for the price being charged we should have an arcade perfect version. Will I keep this yes I've waited 12 months for this, am I happy about the purchase yes and no it looks gorgeous is playable and finally finished my set. But for the price we should be able to get an arcade perfect experience, I would love to know what chipset this thing runs on but I eont tear mine apart to see hopefully one day someone else will and put it on YouTube.

The screen is a bit ropey and the controls aren’t perfect, but it’s the arcade rom and you can adjust the difficulty unlike the first gen arcade 1up sf2. If you can buy it for £45-£50 I’d say it’s value but not if it’s more than that

This table top Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition has very good picture and sound, the stick is a little loose but that's how they are made and only took me about ten minutes to get used to before i could do the hadokens. I will probably get the arcade Contra table top as now I have seen how good these premium editions are and sf2 and Contra extra size ones have the Arcade versions on complete with settings like the dip switch modes on arcades.

Il prodotto è giunto a casa in condizioni perfette, grazie ad un ottimo imballaggio. La sorpresa più grande è stata le dimensioni del mini cabinato, davvero generose. L'impatto da subito mi ha riportato indietro negli anni '90, quando Street Fighter regnava nelle sale giochi, ma la magia di quegli anni è diventata ancora più palpabile non appena l'ho acceso: luci della gettoniera e della scritta in alto, avvio della rom identica al cabinato, suoni stratosferici (le casse sono frontali, sopra lo schermo) e grafica meravigliosa. A tal proposito inizialmente ero titubante per lo schermo lcd; ai tempi era crt, ma grazie alle dimensioni contenute, la grafica non solo non risulta "schiacciata" o "spalmata", ma addirittura è identica all'originale. Oltre al tasto per inserire i gettoni, ci sono altri due tasti: uno per iniziare a giocare e l'altro il per le opzioni. La schermata delle opzioni permette di regolare la difficoltà del gioco, la luminosità dello schermo e se in modalità demo il mini cabinato deve anche emettere i suoni come in sala. L'audio è regolabile a parte tramite due tasti posti nella parte posteriore del cabinato, dove è presente anche il jack per le cuffie. È possibile alimentarlo con batterie, oppure tramite cavo mini usb type B (non l'ultimo tipo per intenderci). Che altro aggiungere? L'aspetto del cabinato è molto fedele, il joystick e i bottoni restituiscono quelle sensazioni e rumori tipici da sala (la manifattura dei pulsanti in particolare è eccellente) e sono comodi da usare, il gioco è esattamente quello che uscì nei mitici anni '90 e non appena si inizia a giocare, si è subito teletrasportati indietro nel tempo di circa trent'anni. Per chi ama Street Fighter e per chi ha amato le sale giochi è un acquisto dovuto. Questo mini cabinato mi ha spinto a cercarne altri per un full immersion.
