South Shore Gloria 2-Drawer Nightstand, Gray Maple with Brass Finish Handles

We already had 2 of these we purchased last year, and just bought 2 more for our sons room. Very sturdy, well made, easy to assemble, and the Gloria model is gorgeous! We did buy glass tops for them so that the laminate doesn't peel or warp from our nightly drinks, but we love them. Highly recommend this night stand! We have loved every piece we have ordered from South Shore. And they are extremely easy to work with if you need a replacement part or have any issues.

This is a very nice nightstand.The instructions were awesome; thank you, South Shore, for making very easy-to-read and follow instructions with good pictures and commentary!The instructions said that it takes about 45 minutes to put this together, and that is exactly how long it took me. I loved the fact that the hardware came in separate baggies for drawers and were clearly labeled.I like how smooth the surface is.One negative note - I hated the brown plastic brackets, or whatever they are, that go on the bottom of the construction - you have to hammer them down into the tiny holes, which took a lot of effort, and one of them broke after I swung the hammer a bit too much, accidentally. They could have thought of an easier and better connector.....The rest is great, I am really enjoying these nightstands.

I bought the complete set (5 drawer chest, 6 drawer dresser and two nightstands). They look good. There was one scratch on one of the drawers of the chest and a scratch at the top of one of the nightstands. I have read reviews about other dressers from South Shore having scratches on them so I was aware this could be an issue. It was nothing that detracted too bad from the set. Assembly took a few hours for all 4 pieces, and that was with two people working on it. It's definitely time consuming. Also, one of the handles for the 5 drawer chest wouldn't fit in the pre-drilled holes due to it not aligning properly, requiring my father to drill into the dresser to create a proper fit. Assembly definitely takes a bit of handiness. Lastly, he 5 drawer chest doesn't sit sturdily. Its a little shaky (similar to a table that rocks a little at a restaurant). The dresser and nightstands sit fine. Overall it's a nice value dresser set. You get what you pay for.

These nightstands are gorgeous. They look exactly like the photo. They are much heavier than I expected and the drawers hold quite a bit. The top drawer is slightly smaller than the second but it is the perfect nightstand at the perfect price. Although putting this together was slightly difficult ( the instruction manual has no words only images) once we got the hang of it the second one went pretty easily. Definitely worth the buy.

We bought 2 of these. One, pictured here, shows the way too high track for the dresser. Instructions had no words and it took quite some time to assemble. The second one we got had another flaw that didn't let us put it together either. Thankfully, the customer service was very great and sent us new parts, which worked, mostly. I feel bad leaving a bad review because the support was so responsive and polite, but one drawer just broke (from me pulling it out), so I feel like I need warn people. I know the material quality isn't great, you get what you pay for, etc. but I think the pieces should at least fit together.

It LOOKS fine. Easy to assemble. Feels incredibly cheap. The drawers are kinda wonky even though we put a lot of effort into making sure everything was perfect. Will be replacing it ASAP but it’s fine for now.

Absolutely love it. Perfect budget nightstand and South shore assembly is a breeze, especially for something this size.. very sturdy upon assembly and looks very nice and modern. will definitely buy again. Took about 45 minutes to assemble but nothing difficult..
