This spoon is a very simple, utilitarian, metal spoon. That is what I wanted and that is what I got. Still, I almost sent it back. It was so light that I thought I must have bought an aluminum spoon. It's stainless steel as advertised even though it was deceptively light, a feature I am appreciative of now.I plan to buy at least three more, perhaps more since we keep the food buffet full and warm when we have company.

Light weight nice handle

I use this spoon to stir the pot when I dye clothes on my stove. The handle length is perfect, and the spoon size is large enough to stir well. I could see it being very good for its intended purpose of cooking/basting as well. Definitely stainless as it still looks brand new after subjecting it to dyes and chemicals.

Perfect spoon

The length of the handle is perfect. I already had one that I use in my crock pot but...sometimes, I use both my crock pots at once with different ingredients in them so, I needed another one of these... Different spoons for different tastes.. I always look for convenience. This is a great spoon, can't go wrong by the price either. Quick shipping and I may order a few more for Xmas for family...some day they don't have long enough spoons for their crock pots either. Totally happy to get another one such as this.
