Am a huge fan of Simthread. It never fails me and works seamlessly with my Brother NV180 n Innovis 800E embroidery sewing machines. No thread breaks and available in a huge variety of rich, brilliant colours, I am hooked. I hv the bigger sets and bought this set to top up my pinks and reds. Love it. Comes with a sturdy protective box and 2 complimentary thread protector nets too. Great value for money. The customer service is awesome too via their FB page. Highly recommended always! ❤️👍🏻

With 108 colors, I found these large spools of Simthread produced excellent stitch outs without a single thread break. The selection of colors is great and vibrant! The new slip off spool wrap and locking bottoms were added conveniences that I really appreciate. There wasn't a color/conversion card included in my order, but it's available free on-line. I highly recommend Simthread and wouldn't hesitate to reorder this product.

Let me just say: I’ve stitched my way through decades of fabric fads, thread drama, and enough bobbin tangles to write a memoir. So when I say these threads are the most shiny and beautiful I’ve ever used, I don’t say it lightly. I say it with the reverence of someone who’s basted 110” quilts at 2 a.m. with a headlamp on and a prayer in her heart. These threads? They gleam like morning dew on freshly pressed batiks. The shine is so vibrant, I swear my quilt tops wink at me. I’ve had judges at shows pause mid-critique just to run their fingers along the stitches like they were petting a silky little show pony. But beauty means nothing if the thread snaps under tension—and here’s the kicker: these babies are as strong as my coffee and twice as smooth. They glide through cotton, linen, and even those ornery metallics like a hot iron over a bias seam. I used one spool on a free-motion feather motif, and when I tell you it looked like the wings of a quilting angel had descended onto my longarm… I mean it. I almost cried. And that was before I saw the back! Bottom line: If you’re serious about quilting—or just want your stitches to sparkle brighter than a fabric shop owner at a clearance sale—grab these threads. Stock up. Build them a shelf. They deserve it.

I really like this thread, its a great brand, they have great colors, the thread is good quality, and I like the snap spools. My machine has no issues with using it, and I have a Janome 3160 QDC. I would purchase this again.

I’m new to metallic threads, so I figured I’d give these a try since I love using Simthread embroidery threads. This was my second ever freestanding lace project and, besides a few thread breaks (user issues and it got caught up in the bottom of the thread net) and one thread shred, it stitched out beautifully! I did have to babysit my machine while this was stitching out, only because I’m new to metallic thread and need to figure out the best way to use it for my machine. I will definitely buy it again when I run out. Thank you for providing a quality product that I know I can trust to all of my embroidery projects!

Rayon and strong, I use some of them for hand embroidery as well. I can get the color match I need for clothes making.
