Perfect fit for me and my Jeep.
Absolutely love this kayak. The falcon is a smaller kayak but works perfectly for me. 5’ tall 105lbs. Easy for me to lift and fits perfectly in the back of my Jeep Wrangler. Very easy to put together. Challenging to take a part for a shorter person but another purchaser suggested putting the stern up on something like a piece of wood. Once I did this it was a piece of cake. Another user said it is much easier to take a part in the water. The tracking is great. The paddle that comes with it is perfect. I have purchased a padded seat that connects to the existing seat. Do not over tighten the connectors they will strip over time. It arrived in less than a week (earlier than it originally said). I have had so much fun on my yak. I see many years of enjoyment with this awesome little kayak.

Could have better contact points for carrying it
I've been using this kayak for a few weeks now, I really like it and once you're in the water it's easy to maneuver. The other review here that says it's difficult to steer and that you will hit the connectors while paddling, well, that person probably does not know how to use a kayak, I have experienced neither and my total experience with kayaking extends to less than 10 times. So don't pay attention to that, it's BS.But yeah, I agree that it is cumbersome to carry the pieces, and pulling them apart is not as easy as they show in their videos. If they included some handles in the molded plastic it would be far easier to carry from your car to the water. I also think that the plastic straps will give fairly quickly. I will try some 3d printed with flexible material as a possible replacement. It's a very good idea that can be implemented better but overall I really enjoy it and it is definitely a great choice for solo kayakers that occasionally take another person with them. When I go by myself, all three pieces fit in the back of my car (SUV) but with my kids, I definitely have to put two of them at least on the roof, so it is still very bulky. If you're looking for something more compact and don't need a tandem, look at the Pakayak, although it's even pricier than this one.Where I live is mostly canals that connect to the open sea and I have paddled on both, when you're on still waters it's very easy to handle but when you get to slightly choppier waters it becomes a little difficult to steer. I would definitely not use this in white water or anything like that, which is not the intention of this product anyway. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase and I recommend it.

extraordinarily difficult to put together and take apart
The ratcheting mechanism is awkward and very difficult to use. There is no easy way to release the buckles so that the strap smoothly slides out. You have to pull, tug, and pray to god that the strap comes apart. Also, when the kayak is put together, there is a significant gap between the two pieces. There is also no comfortable way to carry either piece because there is no carry handle on either side. Good luck trying to return your purchase if you’re not satisfied, you have to pay for shipping for two rather large boxes.

Expensive but great kayak that fits in my car
This is expensive but I am very pleased with my purchase. The kayak works great and fits in my Corolla. It's easy to load and unload and works great. May buy another in the future.Update: I have taken it out on about 10 different lakes over the summer. Had a blast and it’s still working fine. Just a heads up this should not be used in a river.

Poor video, but you get the point- poor tracking!
The media could not be loaded. One good thing is, it allows you to get on the water easily in terms of easy transport in a car. Having a vehicle without any support bars in the roof, this kayak gave me the ability to transport and do what I love. However, the tracking is a challenging especially in water that has a light ripple. Any current will make it even more challenging. The front/tip has insufficient weight, causing the front to rise when moving any any speed or in any current. No drain holes in the mid section where seat is. Pieces are almost impossible to carry any distance due to no sufficient handles.the small dry space is just large enough for a small cell phone. I wouldn’t recommend if you are planning a long adventure, it would be tedious to handle with the poor tracking. It could use a deeper fin, which would help with tracking!

Easy to transport
I have used this kayak three times so far - for one, two, and three hour trips. It is easy to transport, easy to get in and out of, and fun to paddle. I am a beginner and have mostly gone on flat water in lakes and slow moving rivers. It’s a bit more tippy than a sit-in-kayak, but less so than a canoe. It is easy to put together but difficult to take apart and takes some practice, but for me, the ease of transport makes up for this difficulty. I am very happy with the purchase. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the high price and the difficulty in taking it apart.

Easy way to disconnect
If you’re short here’s a trick to disconnect. I keep two yoga blocks in the kayak. When I finish paddling and have it on land I place a block under each side just in front of the middle seam. This way when you straddle and click the release buttons, the height causes the two sections to drop apart more easily! Game changer.

Do not buy from this seller!!
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this Kayak only to find I have a defective item. The two pieces do not fit together. The plastic is warped. Therefore, it will not float and is not usable. This company will not contact me back. When you try to call the phone number associated with the return you are sent to a full mailbox. Clearly this was a scam. I’m beyond disappointed that Amazon would not help me in this situation. I spent almost $800 on this Kayak. It will cost me $400 to return it from Kentucky back to New Jersey. I do not trust that this company would refund me, even if I did pay to send it back.
