What is the lowest temperature setting in degrees Fahrenheit?

can I place the hot barrel in the sock while still off but unplugged?

I’ve placed it in a sock so I could put it in my suitcase if I was in a hurry and it’s never melted onto the barrel. I am about to order my 2nd one. I have had my first one for over 10 years. Still works great but I dropped it and cracked the temperature wheel and although it still turns I don’t want to wait till it falls off to get a new one. I have a 1/2 inch and a 1and a half inch and I love them both. Can’t get along without them

The part of the metal wand where you can actually wind hair around it is about 3-1/2". This does not include the plastic tip (where you can safely hold it), nor the lower part where the clamp attaches. The entire iron is 13" from end to end.

is this really dual voltage and worldwide usage? If i purchase this and take it to Spain will it work with a outlet adaptor?

Mine has the typical looking plug but the definition of worldwide is (as it is described): "when the voltage reading is listed as a range of numbers, like 110V–220V or 100-240V, the device can handle AC voltage outlets from all over the world. This is considered a “dual voltage” or "world-wide voltage" device." BTW Great iron.
